Happy Macro Monday everyone!

These little cuties grow all over our lawn and I believe they are some kind of dianthus. They are very tiny...

Supporting the theme of "intended contact" on the Macro Monday group... intention is to show 2 objects interacting for the purpose of performing a specific action - in this case, a reminder on my chalk board to take a macro image and post today.

Macro of the stigma of a Hibiscus Flower, taken with D200 and Tamron 90mm Macro in 1:1 mode..

The caterpillar was merely no longer than 1.5 cm. But how gigantic it compares to the little aphid to the left?!

Photo taken on a tripod, I used two exposures. First one the flash was from behind to illuminate the leaf and the somewhat transparent caterpillar, the second flash was in the front too give a good exposure of the body surface.

Not the most crisp capture but perfect for bokeh Wednesday ;-))

HAPPY BOKEH WEDNESDAY!!! I think it's better large on black ;-))

Another Waterlily macro from a few weeks ago.

I haven't been out recently thanks to some back issues and a lack of interest - hopefully I'll recover my mojo now that my back is fine again!

Hope you like this image!!
