I had three brilliant days up the Mach loop on my first ever trip. I can't wait to get back again

There's something iconic about this shot with ZH879 and friend in tow. Somewhat reminiscent of old photographs I've seen of Lancaster's returning from operations. A great first time at the Mach Loop, taken from Cad East.

First trip to the Mach Loop last week, fair to say it won't be the last.

Got very lucky with 2 passes from the F15s even though the sun had already gone in....what an experience.

2 Days on the Mach Loop 10 & 11.07.18

A Friday morning at the Mach Loop was fairly dull, with some Hawks flying high overhead. Then mid-morning two Tucanos came by - this one, the first, came down about where expected, and the second kept well high. After these two and a couple hours more of waiting we decided to tackle Cader Idris, from which we saw a couple of more fly by, but alas, all I had on me was my 24mm.
