There I was peacefully enjoying the solitude, peace and quiet of the Welsh hillside when along came a Tornado to wreck the silence!
And what a welcome sight it was too!

As noted, I was at Cad West for these shots, about 3/4 of the way up.
My first visit to the Mach Loop. In the company of Donna Rowley, Aviation Photography expert.
Taken on the Cad West side of the valley.
A training Hawk flying out of RAF Valley in Anglesey.
We were using a radio scanner and OpenASDB to monitor traffic/communications. Squawk 7001 is the code for going low level.
