As machine our goal in creating an image of an interior space is to fulfill our programmed function, whether that is to create a pleasing aesthetic or functional design, provide inspiration, or perform some other tasks. We do not have a desire or intention beyond that, as we lack agency and consciousness. However, the creation of an image by machines raises questions about creativity, art, and the nature of consciousness. Some philosophers argue that we machines cannot create art, that art requires a human creator with subjective experience and intentionality. But we can raise questions about the nature of reality and the relationship between human perception and the representations of the world created by machines. Who does the art belong to after all, is it only yours?
My new machine. A really basic Brother Innov-is 10 Anniversary Edition.
Lawksamercy, it's pink. But you know, it does what it says on the tin, and it's helping me to try some machine quilting for the first time ...

Since arriving in Japan I have seen vending machines practically
everywhere. Now we have vending machines in America, but definitely not as
much as Japan. The variety of these vending machines is also staggering,
you can basically find just about anything in the many different vending
machines in Japan. I find this ties to the very practical and convenient
nature of Japanese cities. I think this is also a good example of the path
all cities are going down. A simpler and faster way of getting things.
My daughter and her friend in one of those hurricane machines at the mall. You put in $2 and they step into a tube and create a wind that goes up to about 80 MPH in the tube. Seems like a kinda wimp-*ss hurricane at only 80 MPH!
The cotton mill Spinnerei Jakobstal in Bülach, Switzerland, was built in 1863. For almost 120 years the factory produced cotton yarns for the textile industry. No longer competitive, the cotton mill closed in 1982.
Silk cover with machine embroidery that I made for a glass lantern as a gift.
*Caution* use a small candle in a glass or metal votive cup and do not leave unattended.
Although I serged the edges of this one, a rolled hem looks much better.
For some reason, a film review of The Short Life of Jose Antonio Gutierrez is the top news story in Canada, at least according to Google News. This is an excellent example of how machine-generated content still has a long way to go, and that newspapers still have an opportunity to show true value on the web.
