Virtual Macbeth in Second Life developed by Kate Richards, Angela Thomas and Kerreen Ely Harper through a grant funded by the Australian Council for the Arts Literature Board, and sponsored by investor partner, the New Media Consortium.
It makes one really get into the role of Macbeth and gives people a better understanding of the play.

The George A. Macbeth Co. started making glass in Charleroi in 1893, later merging with Thomas Evans & Co to form the Macbeth-Evans Glass Co in 1899. Some of these buildings pictured here were part of that original factory, at least as far as I can tell comparing current satellite views to early 20th century Sanborn maps.
Corning purchased the plant in 1936 and served as the longest tenured owner of the factory, ultimately selling it World Kitchen in 1998. The Pyrex brand (the glassware manufactured in this plant) went through multiple private equity owners in the last 25 years. After a bankruptcy of Instant Brands, the most recent owner of the Pyrex brand, Anchor Hocking took over the plant in early 2024, only to announce their intention to close the plant by early 2025.

Just saw MacBeth on Broadway with Daniel Craig as MacBeth and Ruth Negga as Lady MacBeth. Fabulous presentation…..they were both so good in their roles.

LADY MACBETH
O, never
Shall sun that morrow see!
Your face, my thane, is as a book where men
May read strange matters. To beguile the time,
Look like the time; bear welcome in your eye,
Your hand, your tongue: look like the innocent flower,
But be the serpent under't. He that's coming
Must be provided for: and you shall put
This night's great business into my dispatch;
Which shall to all our nights and days to come
Give solely sovereign sway and masterdom.
"Is this a dagger which I see before me? The handle toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee." Macbeth (Act II, Scene I)
~ Shakespeare
