The Bridge of Lies (Romanian: Podul Minciunilor, German: Lügenbrücke) is a legendary pedestrian bridge located in the center of the Transylvanian city of Sibiu in central Romania. It is the first cast iron bridge built in Romania in 1859. It is decorated with Neo-Gothic motives.
The Bridge of Lies has many legends surrounding it because of its name. The most popular one has it that the bridge will collapse when someone tells a lie while standing on it. Another legend says that the bridge was often crossed by merchants who were trying to fool their clients. To read more legends, use en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridge_of_Lies.
Watch an AMV to this song Here
Lie awake in bed at night and
think about your life
do you want to be different
Try to let go of the truth
the battles of your youth
cause this is just a game
It’s a beautiful lie
it’s a perfect denial
such a beautiful lie to believe in
So beautiful beautiful lie it makes me
It’s time to forget about the past
to wash away what happened last
Hide behind an empty face
don’t ask too much the same
cause this is just a game
It’s a beautiful lie
it’s a perfect denial
such a beautiful lie to believe in
So beautiful beautiful lie it makes me
Everyone is looking at me
I’m running round in circles angry
A quiet desperation’s building higher
I’ve got to remember this is just a game
It’s a beautiful lie
it’s a perfect denial
such a beautiful lie to believe in
So beautiful beautiful lie it makes me

Kuwait
The State of Kuwait (i /kuːˈweɪt/; Arabic: دولة الكويت, Dawlat al-Kuwayt) is a sovereign Arab nation situated in the northeast of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia. It is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the south, and Iraq to the north. It lies on the northwestern shore of the Persian Gulf. The name Kuwait is derived from the Arabic "akwat", the plural of "kout", meaning fortress built near water.[5] The emirate covers an area of 17,820 square kilometres (6,880 sq mi) and has a population of about 2.7 million.[6]
Historically, Kuwait’s history is significantly tied in with Iraq’s history, from the days of Mesopotamia until the Neo Babylon Empire. The region was the site of Characene, a major Parthian port for trade between India and Mesopotamia. The Bani Utbah tribe were the first permanent Arab settlers in the region and laid the foundation of the modern emirate. By the 19th century, Kuwait came under the influence of the Ottoman Empire, and after World War I, it emerged as an independent sheikhdom under the protection of the British Empire. Kuwait's large oil fields were discovered in the late 1930s.
After Kuwait gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1961, the nation's oil industry saw unprecedented economic growth. In 1990, Kuwait was invaded and annexed by neighboring Iraq. The seven month-long Iraqi occupation came to an end after a direct military intervention by United States-led forces. Nearly 773 Kuwaiti oil wells were set ablaze by the retreating Iraqi army resulting in a major environmental and economic catastrophe.[7] Kuwait's infrastructure was badly damaged during the war and had to be rebuilt.[8]
Kuwait is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system of government, with Kuwait City serving as the country's political and economic capital. The country has the world's fifth largest oil reserves[9] and petroleum products now account for nearly 95% of export revenues, and 80% of government income.[10] Kuwait is the eleventh richest country in the world per capita and has the highest human development index (HDI) in the Arab world.[11] Kuwait is classified as a high income economy by the World Bank and is designated as a major non-NATO ally of the United States.[12]

My Take on the Game Character Pinocchio from Lies of P
The whole idea was from The Pinocchio skin made by the talented Miu Littlepaws. maker of Utopia skins. From there was quite the hunt for all the things used to make Pinocchio come to life. I hope I did the Character proud. My hope is Walton Wainwright someday might make a tailcoat either mod so can remove a sleeve or one where they are removable so I might show off his Prosthetic Arm in full which does show on Pinocchio game character. Shot @ The Looking-Glass sim , perfect backdrop for this shoot. Im glad I got him done as starting tomorrow , Im on deck to begin shooting Fantasy Faire as I have for many years and again am honored to do it again this year. Look forward to seeing you all when the mists part.

“Lies, my dear boy, can easily be recognized. There are two kinds of them: those with short legs, and those with long noses. Your kind have long noses.”
Just beginning to bud. I had bought bulbs that claimed to be bleeding hearts, but after planting them, they turned out to be these. Must have been a labeling mistake. Either way, they grew into mammoths.
I've finally made my way through all the pictures I took this Spring. I didn't do so much for this Summer. However, I will be flying out to Jackson Hole this Saturday and will be spending the week in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. (Super excited) So, I'll probably be putting up the few Summer pics I have once we return and then hopefully be posting a lot of awesome shots from the trip.
Glen Coe is a glen in the Highlands of Scotland.
It lies in the southern part of the Lochaber committee area of Highland Council, and was formerly part of the county of Argyll. It is often considered one of the most spectacular and beautiful places in Scotland, and is a part of the designated National Scenic Area of Ben Nevis and Glen Coe. The narrow glen shows a grim grandeur.
The glen, approaching from the east on the main A82 road, is surrounded by wild and precipitous mountains. Further west at Invercoe, the landscape has a softer beauty before the main entrance to the glen. The main settlement is the nearby village of Glencoe located in Carnoch.
The name Glen Coe is often said to mean "Glen of Weeping", perhaps with some reference to the infamous Massacre of Glencoe which took place there in 1692. However, "Gleann Comhann" does not translate as "Glen of Weeping". In fact the Glen is named after the River Coe which runs through it, and bore this name long before the 1692 incident. The name of the river is believed to predate the Gaelic language and its meaning is not known. One possibility is that it was named after a tribe once living in the area; however this remains speculation.
I saw him lying on the floor, camera in hand, put in infront of him and snap. Didn't even look through the lens! To get him to look I called him ... he's actually looking at me!

I love getting pictures of wolves lying down. I have no idea why but I simply do :)
Taken at Minnesota Wildlife Connection
Gallatin National Forest, Montana. White lies all around me. Knee deep on the ground, drifted, crusted, sparkling cold. Wind blown and stuccoed to the needles and branches of every fir tree from here to the valley so far below. White lies in shades of itself. From the grays of shadows all the way to the silver on the forest, spread before me like an audience, and in degrees to the mirror-flash white of reflected sun. I could pretend I worked my way up to this spot by persistence and hard labor on snow shoes or skis. Truth is, I have come by snow sled up the twisting trails, stopping where the opportunity strikes me to fire up my camera. I could also lie a little and say what a fine time this is. But the facts are, it's cold this early in the morning, and my fingers get clumsy fast. Even a slight wind cuts into every exposed skin surface. I curse strongly as I handle cold metal on camera and tripod, and the time it takes to set up a vertical format panorama shot. And wipe my continually fogging glasses to see. But it's a labor of love I guess. Love has all kinds of lies, I've found. Lying to yourself that you're accomplishing something. Lying to yourself that you have to suffer a little to get something meaningful. Little white lies to pretend something is perfect when it's not. Harmless. Until they're not, until they're dark secrets and painful cuts. Like everything, I look back and forget the truth. That it was cold and frustrating. I made it look better in photoshop...in retrospect so to say. A lot of white lies in front of the lens...I'll leave the rest to the professionals.
At night, Bruges may show another face, far from the usual postcards. A darker side, like this scene that could feature in a thriller or a film noir...
Loin de l'image "carte postale", Bruges peut présenter un visage plus sombre, la nuit. Dévoiler son côté obscur, comme dans cette photo, digne d'un thriller ou d'un film noir...

Norwegen / Nordland / Lofoten / Austvågøya
Austvågøya is the northeasternmost and largest of the larger islands in the Lofoten archipelago in Nordland county, Norway. It is located between the Vestfjorden and the Norwegian Sea. The island of Vestvågøya lies to the southwest and the large island of Hinnøya to the northeast. In 2017, the island had about 9,000 residents.
Most of the island is part of Vågan Municipality, while the northeastern part belongs to Hadsel Municipality. The main town on the island is Svolvær. Austvågøya is popular among mountain climbers. The famous Trollfjord is located in the eastern part of the island. Austvågøya is connected by the European route E10 highway to the neighboring island of Hinnøya to the east using the Raftsund Bridge and to the island of Gimsøya to the west using the Gimsøystraumen Bridge.
Geography
The 526.7-square-kilometre (203.4 sq mi) island is 40 kilometres (25 mi) long in the east to west direction and 30 kilometres (19 mi) wide from the north to south. The islands surrounding Austvågøya include Gimsøya and Vestvågøya to the west, Skrova, Litlmolla, and Stormolla to the south, Hinnøya to the east, and Hadseløya to the north.
Austvågøya is largely a mountain massif, with lowland almost exclusively at the coastal beaches, the brim of lowland around the coast. The highest mountain on the island (and in all of Lofoten) is the 1,146-metre (3,760 ft) tall Higravstinden, located on the eastern part of the island. Svartsundtindan (1,050 metres or 3,440 feet), Trolltindan (1,045 metres or 3,428 feet), and Olsanestind (1,000 metres or 3,300 feet) are also in the eastern part, while the famous Vågakallen (942 metres or 3,091 feet) looms over the village of Henningsvær in the southwestern part.
Name
The Old Norse form of the name was Vágøy. The first element is the name of the old church site at Vågan where Vågan Church is located today. The last element is øy which means "island". The word aust (meaning "east") was later added to the name to differentiate it with the neighboring island of Vestvågøya.
(Wikipedia)

----------------------------- JESUS ✝️ SAVES-------------------------------
SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST - ALONE!
12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
❤️❤️ IT'S ALL JESUS AND NONE OF OURSELVES! ❤️❤️
16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the SALVATION of everyone WHO BELIEVES: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel a RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM GOD IS REVEALED, a righteousness that is by FAITH FROM FIRST TO LAST, just as it is written: "THE RIGHTEOUS WILL LIVE BY FAITH." (Romans 1:16-17)
16 KNOW that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be JUSTIFIED BY FAITH in CHRIST and NOT by observing the law, BECAUSE BY OBSERVING THE LAW NO ONE WILL BE JUSTIFIED. (Galatians 2:16)
1. Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2. BY THIS GOSPEL YOU ARE SAVED, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Corinthians 15:1-11)
7. Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9. I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10. The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)
1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:1-13)
Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️
