Saw 3 great egrets on the river passing through my town. I'd have expected them to be far more wary of human presence, but apparently not.

Lots of Starlings in the garden today, they are so entertaining.

My last day on Mull and I spent nearly 4 hours in the rain lying in wet seaweed and behind rocks following this otter (Lutra lutra). Such a joy to spend so long close to this animal.
