Unfortunately that shot was the only one i got. My shutter sound must have spooked him and he climbed fast to a nearby tall tree.

Saw 3 great egrets on the river passing through my town. I'd have expected them to be far more wary of human presence, but apparently not.

Recommend viewing large and taking in that eagle eye that looks quite pleased that it just pulled lunch from the river.
My last day on Mull and I spent nearly 4 hours in the rain lying in wet seaweed and behind rocks following this otter (Lutra lutra). Such a joy to spend so long close to this animal.
