Blue Ringtail Damselfly (Austrolestes annulosus)
The first Blue Ringtail I have seen in the garden this Summer. And, if you look closely, you can see it is dining on a fly.
This bear was given me a stare down as he was walking closer. The perfect saying, "lunch anyone".

For Macro Mondays - Bread and Topping'
Not much time this week so a quick grab of today's lunch - tomato and tasty cheese on dark rye bread.
Happy Macro Monday!
This Eider has picked up an enormous mussel. How they deal with this, I don't know, he turned away from me and I couldn't see what was going on
Yesterday and today were very sunny days, and in my opinion the first ones in which the sunshine actually felt warm.
Even if the sun is still quite low and the shade covers the garden very early, today I decided to have lunch outside and enjoy a wonderful cold beer!
Isn't it funny how easy we can feel content ;) ♥

I'm thinking that this is a favorite and guarded perch. I should hang out and get one while she's feeding but to me, these are more interesting.
Really busy lately - so sorry that I have been missing your great photos - I have been trying to catch up the last few days and will continue to do so - but Happy Clicking of Course to all my flickr friends :))
This wonderful pony at only five is so gentle and well mannered. How sensitive their mouths are - they never eat the string!!
Sacred Kingfisher (Todiramphus sanctus)
A wander through the archives today with no particular rhyme or reason, just picking out some images that I like!
A group of Lesser flamingos (Phoenicopterus minor) was engaged in feeding under the salty wetland. They were eagerly attaining their meal with full concentration caring a hang for my solitary presence. Though they maintained a minimum distance from my presence all the time. And this was all after my long wait on my knees for an hour inside the muddy wetland. Pics was taken from a village in Little Rann of Kutch, Gujrat, India.
thanks a lot for comments fav's and invites always appreciated

The other day we drove down to Elk Rapids to a Walk in the Park. Nice to be out side too. Packed a lunch and although it was cool we sat in the car had lunch and enjoyed this view.
