Die Senne ( eine Landschaft am südwestlichen Rand des Teutoburger Waldes) wird seit über 120 Jahren als Truppenübungsplatz genutzt. Nur selten dürfen Touristen das abgesperrte Gelände besuchen. Wir hatten vor zwei Tagen die Gelegenheit sie unter Leitung eines Biologen der Biologischen Station Paderborn-Senne zu besuchen. Uns bot sich eine wunderschöne Heidelandschaft, wie es sie nicht einmal mehr in der Lüneburger Heide gibt.
Around Salisbury Cathedral. I had to improvise as didn't have a tripod with me, so used any available ledge and my rucksack!

Fireworks for the Poole Harbour boat show, lighting up the port area. This was taken through the landing window..
The camera was on auto setting, high ISO so grainy, but I like the effect and colours!

We stopped off at Nothe Fort on the way home to see the latest leg of the Dorset Moon "tour". It's much different seeing it in daylight, and bet it looks stunning at night, but had to get back home!

New road "pictures" dolphins on this side (West Quay Road) and shells on the other side (West Street)!
