After a 14 hour flight from Vancouver we used Auckland's excellent public transit from the airport to the city centre Britomart station transit hub.

Its name was taken from a Royal Navy gunship, HMS Britomart, the first English vessel to carry out a detailed survey of the Waitematā Harbour in 1841.

Der Salzgittersee ist ein 2,1 km langer und 0,8 km breiter See im Westen des Salzgitteraner Stadtteils Lebenstedt, Niedersachsen. In dem 75 ha großen künstlich geschaffenen See befindet sich eine 25 ha große Insel, die über eine Brücke zu erreichen ist.

Spent a quiet afternoon in the garden and my shed today.

🇬🇧 In front of the sleek facade of Banco do Brasil, two human presences.

One collapsed on the stairs. The other barely visible in the shade.

Between self-service and silent exclusion, social contrast speaks for itself.

A country is also written in its thresholds.
