Ballenstedt/GER

What can I say... Closed is closed... And yet this lowered shutter, this rusty chain, these stacked chairs tell a story quite different from what the shutter hides from us. So it's up to you to dream your own story.

Seen on a day trip Danube river cruise in Austria
Schloss Schönbühel is a castle in the Lower Austrian town of Schönbühel-Aggsbach, below Melk on the right bank of the Danube. The origins of the castle date from the early 12th century. The castle is built on rock approximately 40 metres (130 ft) above the level of the river Danube. A Roman fortress may have stood there before. The castle was begun in the early 12th century by Marchwardus de Schoenbuchele as a defensive fortress.

Oh, Father tell me, do we get what we deserve?
Whoa, we get what we deserve
And way down we go
Way down we go
Say way down we go
Way down we go
You let your feet run wild
Time has come as we all, oh, go down
Yeah but for the fall, ooh, my
Do you dare to look him right in the eyes? Yeah
Oh, 'cause they will run you down, down 'til the dark
Yes and they will run you down, down 'til you fall
And they will run you down, down 'til you go
Yeah, so you can't crawl no more
And way down we go
Way down we go
Say way down we go
Oh, 'cause they will run you down, down 'til you fall
Way down we go
Oh baby, yeah
Oh, baby
Baby
Way down we go
Yeah
And way down we go
Way down we go
Say way down we go, ooh
Way down we go

🇬🇧 A marble bust behind dusty glass.
Its gaze locked in time, chained by stillness, watching a world it can never touch.
A quiet moment suspended between stone and sky.
