We were at 35,000 feet and it was about 3,000 feet higher as it passed over us.

I got this lamp off of Ebay about a million years ago, and I've never seen another one like it. It's a motion lamp, but the poor thing is in pretty sad shape, and I've never been able to get it to work properly. Someday, I hope to find someone who will be able to restore this beauty to its former glory. In the meantime, it's still one of my very favorite finds.
I believe that this lamp was made to commemorate the beginning of jet service in the late 50's.
This preserved bus was on show at the ILA 2006 at Berlin Schönefeld Airport.
The vehicle has a Wolfsburg(WOB) "H" historical vehicle number plate LH 50 (50 years of Lufthansa).
