This is a replica of the famous Dornier Do B Merkur from the twenties. It was one of the first airliner to carry passengers on scheduled routes for the German aircarrier Lufthansa
(exhibited in the Dornier museum, Friedrichshafen, Germany.
An undated image of this very early 737 (line number 2, though the tenth example to be delivered to Lufthansa, on 24 April 1968). It served with the company until 1 February 1983. Its subsequent operators were Far Eastern Air Transport, America West and Ansett New Zealand. It was retired by the latter in 1993 and broken up in late 1995.

403 002 als LH 1005 (IC 1005) von Düsseldorf Flughafen nach Frankfurt Flughafen bei Oberwesel. Zur Einsparung von Inlandsflügen bot die Lufthansa mit den eigens dafür hergerichteten Triebzügen der Baureihe 403 (alt) zwischen 1982 und 1993 viermal am Tag Zugverbindungen zwischen den beiden Airports an.

MSN 540 has had its first flight on 18.11.03 with the test registration F-WWCF and was delivered to LH on 16.01.04.
This is flight LH741 from Osaka (KIX), Japan.
This photo was taken with the new Tamron 28-300VC lens and a 67mm Hoya Pro1 Circular Polar Filter. I think you can see why I have invested some money into this filter...
