Garden of the Gods is a park that merits national stature. It features outstanding natural scenery, complex and unique geology and a historic ranch. The outstanding geologic features of the park are the ancient sedimentary beds of red, blue, purple, and white sandstones, conglomerates and limestone that were deposited horizontally, but have now been tilted vertically and faulted by the immense mountain building forces caused by the uplift of the Pikes Peak massif. Evidence of past ages; ancient seas, eroded remains of ancestral mountain ranges, alluvial fans, sandy beaches and great sand dune fields can be read in the rocks. A spectacular shear fault can be observed where the Tower of Babel contacts the Fountain Formation. The name Colorado is said to come from the color of the sandstone. There are many fossils to be seen: marine forms, plant fossils and some dinosaur fossils. Two of the most well known formations are Balanced Rock and Kissing Camels

This photography was taken this summer during our trip. It was the last of a series I shoot that night and by the time I took this photo it was almost completely dark. The Balancing Rock was a black silhouette to the sunset in the background, so the Balancing Rock was 100% artificial illuminated with the headlights of my rental car to the right and speed lights to the left.

The geekiest custom niche gift I've ever received (an in-game game reference in The Secret of Monkey Island to LucasArts' other game LOOM) . Thanks Anthony.

Now I just need a Cobb's pirate hat to really master the look.

The famous scene from the first movie of Indiana Jones. the figs are the official ones from the set except that I changed the swordsman's blade and hood(so its more accurate to the movie) Credit if use.

Completed Jedi Master Luke Skywalker as seen in issue #3 of Star Wars Invasion by Dark Horse Comics. Luke is in command of Republic forces sent to the planet Rychel in order to repel the invading forces of the Yuuzhan Vong.

The figure was mostly sculpted in Aves Epoxy FIXIT sculpt using a plastic articulated armature. The forearms and hands have been recasted from original parts. The head originalted from a Legacy Snowspeeder Luke figure, casted in wax and completly retooled and refined adding additional markings to the face, age lines, a lower brow, hair and ears...I also strengthened the jaw. The figure measures 3.75" in height. Painted using Floyquil Acrylics by testors.

After couple of days , collage will start again so i might not be available most of the time and i might not upload as frequent as i do now . Also one more thing , if you would like to have any of the photos in ifolio to have it as a background for your iphone or ipod touch then just ask ;)

thanks everyone for your support and testimonials and comments , they really means a lot to me ;)

Btw, this is not HDR ;)

I decided to stop the LEGO store and maybe grab the Pyramid set (7327) and Look what I found! But DO NOT get excited just yet....

I couldn't decide how many I wanted so I grabbed and was walking around the store trying to decide. Then one of the Sales Associates said it: They're Glued together!

Me: Um.. What!?! The figs or to the m...

SA: Both!

Me: No!

SA: Yeah, sorry....

It turns out Disney and LucasArts bitched and moaned and LEGO caved in!

ALL MAGNET FIGS ARE NOW GOING TO BE GLUED TOGETHER AND TO THE MAGNETS!

I will NOT NEVER EVER forgive DIsney for what they made to Lucasarts. Monkey Island (1, 2, 3) was my favourite game ever and now I hate Disney. It's just so sad ;3;

I was planning to do a more elaborate Monkey Island tribute for years now, and maybe I'll do it in the future, but for now my Gugu had to say something. :)

He actually discovered the MI series from Nemo, and now they're all fans! How could they not be?

This is just a quick photo and I know I'm not posting a lot, but I hope to make something else soon! :)

Found this on my ipad from the time I was experimenting with the Epl-2, my chibi trooper and some Christmas lights.

Picture was edited on ipad.

To celebrate the birth of a new Empire, Emperor Palpatine invites all the leaders from the Lucasarts and Walt Disney world to this year Christmas party. Guests include Captain Blackbeard, Irina Spalko, Nizam and Lotso, together with their henchmen.

Looks like the party is not going to be a happy one, with several unexpected guests.

And certainly Emperor Palpatine is not happy to see Emperor Zurg.

Special credit to my girlfriend who build the lovely Disney Castle.

Krause Springs is possibly the most beautiful swimming hole in the state. Situated on a bluff overlooking Cypress Creek, Krause Springs is actually two swimming holes in one. As the rolling ranch land begins its rapid descent to the creek and Lake Travis, the Krause home sits at a high point with the parking lot. At the next level below the house is the spring-fed swimming pool and below that is the creek, lined with towering cypress trees and a waterfall coming over a cliff covered with ferns.

Curse you howl, curse yooooou! *shakes fist*

Right so uh.. 25 things about myself? This.. could be painful.

1: My full first name is Jenna, I go by Jen for one reason and one reason alone. I got SICK TO DEATH of my name being mispronounced as "Gina" with a hideous nasal whine as English people for some moronic reason tried to imitate my accent. -_- To this day the name "Gina" automatically makes me shudder, it's like nails on a chalkboard to me man.

I decided "Jin" was less annoying.

2: I'm really short, like, 5'2". I always wear 3 inch platforms, which is mostly just because I love freaking huge clompy boots, but it also means people freak out when I take them off and shrink. Every single time people are like "WOAH!? Where'd you go!?"

3: I used to have my lip pierced, which I think you can see in this rather um.. old picture. It gave me endless trouble and eventually I took it out after my lip swelled up for no reason. Never got a chance to put it back in because a few days later I ended up in hospital you know, giving birth. Lol. Kinda took priority.

4: Speaking of which, when this picture was taken I was about 5 months pregnant. Not that you can tell. I didn't start showing till about 7 months tbh, I just woke up fat and was all "WOAH!? What?"

Anyway, my now husband bet me I couldn't fit in the box (We were moving at the time) and I was like "I SO can!" so I climbed on in and well... yeah. I WON!

5: I'm dyspraxic, something I didn't actually know for sure till I was 22 years old!?? I always struggled with memory issues and directions, but having a label really made me feel better. Meant I didn't feel like I was just stupid.

6: I went to university to study Archaeology, but after a year of poor health and really crappy lecturers, I quit and switched courses. I was concerned if I continued with Archaeology my love of the subject would just die, so I took a course in Computer Animation and special effects. I hated it, the university LIED about what we'd learn and I suck at 3d shit.

Even so, despite hating the course and having a freaking baby half way through I managed to get a 2:2, so go me.

7: I moved to the UK when I was 14, I was born in NZ. My parents randomly decided "hey, let's move to England for 2 years, explore Europe, do all that overseas shit. It'll be great."

6 months after arriving in the country they filed for divorce. 11 years later and i'm STILL HERE. Eugh.

8: I love the colour green. in fact, allmost all my clothes are either green, brown or black. I also love really ugly plaid and hideous patterns, not sure why, they just amuse me.

9: I also LOVE skirts, and really would rather just wear them than having to deal with pants. Pants are lame, and they seldom fit me right (See the whole short remark earlier). Most of my skirts are knee length or longer though, just because I prefer the style.

10: I love vintage clothing, especially the 1930s and 40s. And i'm a little um.. obsessed with hats. Why don't people wear hats so much any more? Hats are fantastic and seriously, there's little in the world more damned sexy than a guy in a fedora and trenchcoat... but uh... that might be my Noir obsession talking there. Ahem.

11: My favourite movies of all time are Fargo and Edward Scissorhands. Which is a somewhat random combination would't you say? I love Coen Brothers movies because they're always insane and always keep you guessing, and I love a lot of Tim Burton's stuff for the dreamlike fairytale quality. Edward Scissorhands never fails to bring a lump to my throat.

12: I'm a roleplayer. Started out with chatroom rp and when I started university, joined the role play society (yes, they exist lol).

I don't have a favourite system, but my favourite game setting is the Planescape Campaign setting from AD&D. Why? Because it's totally unlike any other fantasy setting. It's strange and philosophical and surreal and I freaking LOVE that.

13: I'm Wiccan, though i'm pretty lackadaisical in my observation of this faith. Sure I observe most of the sabats, when I remember, but i'm not about to stop everything just because it happens to be Beltaine or whatever. Also, most other neopagans piss me off for being pretentious twats. I try to ignore them, especially when they try to tell me HOW to observe my own fricken faith.

A perfect example of this is a group of people I was doing some thing for the BBC with, who INSISTED as a practising witch I HAD to have a craft name. Uh why? I'm quite happy with my real name thank you very much.

14: I can read Tarot, though I fully accept it's fairly vague and often difficult to interpret or understand. Especially when the person you're reading for is being uncooperative and not telling you ANYTHING about themselves. Grrr.

15: I love old school adventure games, especially the Lucasarts adventure games which I grew up with. My father introduced me to the joys of gaming and i've never looked back since. I own very very few games made in the past 10 years actually, but that's because fps games don't appeal and hey, that's what 90% of new releases ARE.

16: I also love survival horror, but I SUCK at them.

17: I collect a lot of things. Not just fashion dolls but Owl figurines, Planescape paraphanalia, Music and comics wheee. Not that I get much chance to read comics these days. Which is a shame.

18: DC is infinitely better than Marvel damnit. Batman kicks ASS.

19: My all time favourite book is The Neverending Story. Every so often I go back and reread it. I own at least two copies with the original red and green text, they're awesome and so much easier to read than the reprint in italics and standard font.

I used to love the film as a kid but looking back at it after reading the book SO MANY times, the flaws are so glaringly obvious. First film isn't so bad but the second? ouch... and the less said about 3 the better. That movie is an abomination and all responsible should be SHOT.

20: I love horror movies. The cheesier the better man. Chucky never fails to make me smile, which uh.. probably wasn't originally the intent ahem. That said, I also have a real soft spot for a good old fashioned ghost story like the original Haunting (The remake was crap, really.. really crap). It's kinda depressing to me that most modern horror films are either remakes of far superior asian horror titles or gore fests. It's been a while since i've seen a modern horror film that's actually scared me on a deeper level than "OMG a cat jumped out at me!"

21: I love cartoons. I grew up in the 90s with so many great cartoons on TV like Gargoyles and Animaniacs, man, that stuff was awesome. As a kid I was always kinda embarrassed that I liked Gargoyles because it was a BOY cartoon and I was a girl, but damn it was an excellent series. Having watched it again as an adult, yeah, it's still awesome.

22: I seldom played with dolls as a child. My mother always bought me baby dolls and such, but I never actually played with them. They just got put in a cupboard and pretty much ignored. I much preferred either just collecting things and displaying them or dinosaurs. Ooo yeah. Later I moved on to Littlest Pet Shop and Trolls, which we played with like you're supposedly meant to play with Barbie dolls... minus the dressing them up and mutilating them bit. I never mutilated my toys, if I broke them they'd be thrown away so yeah, I was really careful with my stuff.

23: I'm somewhat obsessive, which may explain my compulsion to collect things. I write endless lists, I get really pedantic about the tiniest trivial details and I think a lot of people think i'm insane heh.

Yesterday I wierded out the guy in Games Workshop teaching me to paint Miniatures by going off on a speculative rant about what fabric the rat man's tunic must be made of and what precise manner of armour his breastplate was. Yeaaaah... that was kinda pedantic.

24: I think i'm actually a little too open about myself. Often I find myself telling things that are totally tmi. I believe this is likely thanks to me having absolutely no shame LEFT. When you've had the amount of doctors/nurses/students etc standing around while you have your legs in stirups or some other undignified position, you kinda start to lose all sense of modesty.

25: I have PCOS, or something similar. Suffice to say, it makes my life freaking miserable. When i'm not in pain, i'm cranky and/or wanting to murder people so it's all pretty sucky. Also makes that whole, starting a family business rather difficult. My little boy is a miracle really, too bad it seems one is our limit on miracles.

Was that a depressing enough note to end on? Sure was.

So just look at me in a box and you'll cheer up. I miss my box.. my box was awesome.

How can you not get the chills when you look at that and get to play it on your iPhone/iPod Touch. Thanks Scummvm! Of course you can play a lot more classic games by LucasArts and more! See here

The 1:18th scale, 4" tall sculpt of Starkiller from the Force Unleashed 2 is completed. This sculpt depicts Starkiller as he appears in the teaser trailer for the Lucasarts game as well as many of the promotional commercials...

Starkiller's two head sculpts (standard and "rage") are original sculpts depicting the character from the concept art and not that of the actor. When I have time I will go back and sculpt an actor likeness.

The shoulder armor is a seperate piece and is attached by a clear band around the shoulder.

The body is a full sculpt using a custom made articluated frame or armature. The figure contains 14 points of articulation.

Included to hilts which are built from existing parts, can be attached to chest using clear banding. Also included are to sabers with attached beams. Lightsabers do not light up.

The arena robes are from the Darth Maleval box set and was altered/reworked then painted to give a worn look. Hood is from a VOTC Darth Sideous, altered and repainted.

Figure was sculpted using Aves FIXIT sculpt and hand painted using Testors Polyscale and Floquil acrylics.

This wide angle shot above the Presidio shows the headquarters of Lucas Films and Lucas Arts in the foreground (buildings with red roofs), which are directly across the street from the Palace of Fine Arts. For those that do not know, Lucas Films and Lucas Arts were founded by George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and other films. The western span of the SF-Oakland Bay Bridge is visible beyond the buildings of the Financial District.

This photo is part of a series of images that I captured while touring San Francisco, California aboard a helicopter in the fall of 2010. On the day we took the tour, I was suffering from vertigo due to an ear infection so motion was the last thing I wanted that day but it has been scheduled and there was a hefty cancellation fee. So a couple of motion sickness pills and I was off inside a 4-seat Bell helicopter.

I've never flown in a helicopter before so this was a new thing for me. I immediately recognized the challenge and difficulty of taking photos inside a small cramped cabin that's always vibrating and occasionally pulled mild turns in 3 dimensions. The setting sun and clouds in the sky did not help much in the lighting department, and that finely scratched plexiglas bubble that we had to shoot through can degrade the output of the best optics into something similar to a Holga or Diana camera. I asked our lovely pilot if I can crack open my window just enough to poke my lens through, and her answer was a resounding "NO".
