What has happened to the art of respect? We are all human beings, made of flesh and blood, no-one is superior to anyone else. It is time to change the political rhetoric which is supposed to guide us. The language used these days is not fit for our children's ears, it needs to be cleaned up so that we can teach our children about love and diversity, not hate and non acceptance! It is President Trumps duty to lead by example, through educated behavior which can also benefit his own son.

I've been looking for a photo I could turn into pop art - a really strong 'in your face' image.

I posted a number of experimental processing images in 2017, and I intend to carry this on through this year, as well as posting more of my older pictures.

Train: LG ER20 018 with a fright train heading west (Klaipedia)

Die Bahnstrecke nach Klaipedia hat in Litauen eine grosse nationale Bedeutung. Sie verbindet nicht nur die Zentren von Kaunas und Vilnius mit Klaipeda sondern das Innland auch mit dem einzigen grossen Hafen des Landes.

Die Siemenes Eurorunner ER20, bei der LG in einer Breitspurversion im Einsatz, wurden vornehmlich auf dieser Relation im Güterverkehr eingesetzt.

Mittlerweile ist die Strecke elektrifiziert und der Güterverkehr dürfte mit der Grenzschliesslich zu (Weiss)Russland auch nicht mehr geworden sein.
