Scenes from the Big River Meander Summer Discovery Cruises from Michigan Sea Grant on Sunday August 16, 2015. This four-hour cruise explores the Lower Detroit River and its islands and it circles around Grosse Ile and into Canadian waters. The Free Bridge is also known as the Wayne County Bridge. It is one of two bridges from Michigan to Grosse Ile - and is operated by Wayne County...and is free. We could pass underneath it without opening.

This bug sucks plant sap and as it excretes the excess water, chemicals in the sap crystalise forming a fan of bristles out of its butt!
Great day exploring sites east of Phoenix on my free day. I had an incredible visit to the Tonto National Monument on the late morning of Friday July 13th, 2018. Tonto National Monument is located in Glia County, Arizona and list found in the Superstition Mountains near the city of Roosevelt and the Salt River. One of the best features of the monument are the cliff dwellings. I was able to visit the Lower Cliff Dwellings where members of the Salado people lived between the 13th and 15th centuries. Taken on Friday July 13th, 2018.
