While flying my drone north of the Flame Wave, I flew all the way to Lower Reservoir. I had camped by the pond out there in May 2017. It was interesting to see the lay of the land from above. View is to the northwest.
The "Sand HIlls" of the Paria Plateau contain no rivers or streams, and water sinks into the sand quickly. The ubiquitous outcrops of Navajo sandstone, though, can collect rain. Early ranchers used these natural basins or "tanks" to collect water for their animals and cabins, sometimes building dams to enlarge the ponds.

I love it when those clouds decide to fly low and paint a good landscape for the one who stops and contemplates.
The top of the lower portion of Yosemite Falls as seen from the Sentinal Bridge area of the Valley floor. It almost looks like an aerial view from above, but the falls are actually much higher than where this picture was taken.

St Peter's, the first Roman Catholic parish in New York, was established in 1785 on the site it now occupies. The church was used for worship until 1836 when a portion of the ceiling collapsed. y this time, the congregation had grown so large that some of the parishioners who came to hear Mass had to stand outside. The present church exterior was completed in 1840. In 1886 Cardinal John McCloskey divided St. Peter’s Parish and directed that the 1,500 Catholics living in Lower Manhattan and on the Harbor Islands be constituted as the Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary This parish was founded as a mission for women in 1883. In 2015, the Parish of the Our Lady of the Rosary was merged back into St Peter's Parish to form St Peter - Our Lady of Our Rosary Parish.
Beale Wildlife Park and Gardens
Located by the River Thames, between the villages of Lower Basildon and Pangbourne.
The park was founded in 1956 by Gilbert Beale as his own private park. He was a keen collector and breeder of peacocks and these birds still roam free in the 350-acre park.
The wildlife park has meerkats, prairie dogs, monkeys, mongoose, capybaras, wallabies, alpacas, maras, lemurs, raccoons, owls, macaws, rheas, coati, goats, a deer park, and a pets corner.
The impressive gardens include a pavilion, trails, the Jubilee water gardens and several sculptures
There is a children's play area for families.

The Water Gardens offer a peaceful walk with a hint of the Orient, with bridges to walk over and benches to sit and enjoy the views.
Lower Slaughter is a village in the Cotswolds Gloucestershire, some four miles south west of the town of Stow-on-the-Wold.. At the west end of the village there is an old water mill with an undershot waterwheel and a chimney for additional steam power.
Lower Falls, the biggest waterfall in Yellowstone, is the most famous in the Park, hands down. In fact, the 308-foot tall waterfall it is most likely the second most photographed spot in Yellowstone, with Old Faithful Geyser being the first.
