Young velvet bolete (one of many) found in the forest :)
The velvet bolete or variegated bolete (Suillus variegatus), is a species of edible mushroom in the genus Suillus. Like all bolete-like species it has tubes, and pores, instead of gills under its cap. The mushroom forms a mycorrhizal relationship with pine and occurs in North America and Eurasia. It appears in late summer. It is often found with heathers, and other acid loving plants, on sandy soils. The velvet bolete is edible and good for pickling.

Dobry do marynowania.
Two Azure-winged Magpies enjoying a moment by the pool—one splashing playfully while the other watches on. It was a delightful scene to witness as I waited for the elusive Iberian lynx to appear

the great plaza is a stage. strangers move like shadows under a vast sky, the iron tower stands, indifferent to them all. but for a moment, it is not theirs. it is framed by a personal horizon, claimed by a fleeting, perfect geometry. a brief, powerful alignment of self and symbol, held against the light.

From our Sunday trip to Dawlish. This is the beach where we found all those pieces of polished green glass from the previous upload. It's a nice bit of rugged coastline. Dawlish is known for the railway passing just at the shoreline and there are spectacular images of waves crashing over the passing trains. One of the railway tunnels can be seen in the background. There are some nice sea stacks lining that bit of coast, some of which can also be seen in the background.
2 weeks on from discovering the den site of a family of rural foxes, mum has been doing less feeding and dropping in, and the cubs are starting to expand their exploration of their territory. This cub I've named solo as it seems happier than the others to venture out of the den alone.

Shooting in extreme low angle perspective at one of the Bibliothèque nationale de France towers, I wanted to capture the dizzying verticality and geometric power of this iconic architecture.
Black and white allows me to emphasize the lines, reflections, and symmetry of the glass facades, creating a visual tension between order and infinity.
My intention is to transform the building into an abstract graphic sculpture, where the eye gets lost in layers of glass and metal converging toward the sky.
This image celebrates contemporary architectural boldness and invites viewers to contemplate the formal beauty of urban structures from an unusual and contemplative angle.
A vibrant male Wood Duck glides through calm water, framed by the pale, fading blooms and broad leaves of a dying lotus. Sunlight catches the iridescent greens and purples of his plumage, contrasting sharply with the muted pinks and browns of the natural scene.

I am grateful for your continued support and appreciate every view, fave, and comment!
Sunrise at Michaels Mount in Cornwall, UK. I was searching for nice reflections in the foreground when i saw that the texture in the clouds matched the texture in the foreground ripples. I placed the camera close to the ground, attached a 0.6 softgrad Filter and took the shot, nice and simple. The rising sun illuminated the fortress perfectly and therefore there was no need for any postproduction. Theses are the type of shots i crave for.

You usually dry off on a duckboard, but it rained so much the day I took this image I was about as far away from being dry as it is possible to be.
