A low riverbank along the upper Hudson River, stabilized by the root systems of large oaks and other trees.
This weekend's weather turned out much nicer than originally forecast and yesterday was my birthday so we enjoyed a couple of hours last night down at the nearby beach just chilling out with a craft beer and a small Cohiba :-)

I really like it when a really low tide coincides with sunset, because then the vast Pacific Ocean is visually reduced to a thin band that separates the sky from its reflection in the wet sand. I used intentional camera motion when capturing this scene.
Low clouds hovered over the mountains on the Prince William Sound seemingly meeting the water. Textures emphasize the mood of the day...
"Force" is local dialect for "falls" and does not refer to the power or flow of the river, hence these are the lower falls on the upper river Tees.

158719 heads north west across the low plains between Keith and Elgin with an Inverness bound service. The signal to the right of the train is superfluous in this instance, but are the lineside wires?
The original wide angle image before I did the massive crop , I like the crop image but I also like the wide angle image as well which shows more of the light coming in from the side .
