My parents went on vacation for a few days, so I thought I would do a little "while you were out" and repaint my dads office/game room and computer room. I love home makeover shows, so I thought this would be a fun project! My brother wasn't real excited about the idea, but he helped out a bit. He's super tall (like 6'4 or something) so he was quite helpful when it came to reaching up high. The colour before (as seen in this photo) was a horrible peach, that we all hated. So I was going to paint it a nice neutral/taupy sort of colour (called desert sand)

SPRING CLEANING! We have been heavy duty scrubbing the floors, dusting, picking up and throwing out lately. Last night, I swept the entire kitchen and that was followed by Jim MOPPING! He mopped the kitchen and the bathroom. It was amazing.
Mopping however involves us moving a bit of furniture out of the way to do a thorough job. This always excites the cats and they seem to claim the tall stool/chairs until they are moved back.
