For those who don't know yet...I have not migrated to Seattle....Many of you noticed and commented about my change of photography and self when I was in Florida....It is now where I call HOME...after an epic 27 hour ride!!!!!!! Yes...straight through....I just don't know how I did it...But I am here...beginning life again..It is here that I have found bits of myself back....feeling at peace...singing to the ocean...worshiping the sun...sharing all of myself with old time friends....laughing from the gut...breathing instead of sighing...and remembering just how much I love the world, people and just life in all its' glory...I will catch up with you all soon! xoxo

O Projeto Cotidiano é para retratar a aparência de uma pessoa no dia a dia, não importa o momento do dia se está com insônia, bonita, feia, doente, magra ou gorda. Pensei em documentar algum amigo, porém é complicado vê a mesma pessoa todos os dias, então achei mais prático fazer auto retrato, apesar de não gostar de sair nas fotos vai ser um desafio, afinal publicar algumas fotos no qual você não se vê bem, é bastante complicado, Divirta-se!

The Everyday Project is to portray the appearance of a person in everyday life, no matter what time of day it is with insomnia, beautiful, ugly, sick, skinny or fat. Thought to document some friend, but it is difficult to see the same person every day, so I decided it was more practical to self portrait, despite not liking to leave the photos will be a challenge, anyway post some photos where you can not see well, is quite complicated, enjoy!
Who doesn’t love home-made food? Home-made food is comfort food, for when you are feeling low; home-made food is happy food, for when you simply want to relax at home and chit-chat with your family. Chhole chaawal, kadi pakoda, rajma chaawal, baingan ka bharta …. Mmmmm. Sounds delicious, right? Here’s a story about the love for home-made food.
today was valentines day! during the day, i hung around with the parents. my dad got my the usual small valentine's bouquet and a box of my favorite donuts because i'm weird and i HATE chocolate. that's right, boys and girls, i hate it. it literally makes me sick. THEREFORE... donuts. They were amazing, i definitely miss shipleys when i'm in North Texas.
later that night, when boyfriend got off of work, he did a whole valentines day thing for me. A bouquet of tulips [i like them better than roses,] an entire meal with several courses, sparkling grape juice instead of champagne [considerate and adorable] then we spent the rest of the time watching movies on demand, talking, and making eachother laugh.
it was the first valentines day where i haven't been disappointed. love it.

I've been really homesick lately. I broke down the other night when my five year old brother told me, over the phone, that he loved me and he was going to draw a big heart for me. Well, he did. I received it today and I'm not really sure if its soothing the pain of being away or making it worse.

Here are some of my Valentine roses in a shaft of sunlight. I really do like dark photos sometimes.
I know photos of roses are totally cliche, but I don't have roses very often, so I get excited when I do!
So here they are, glowing in the sun.
As with all dark photos, it is probably better on black.
