This is not an original photo, but instead, an HD frame capture from the fourth season finale of the wildly popular television series, "Lost."

No sign of the kitty. (Escaped on 7thApril2012, at night).

I've put food across the road on the neighbours balcony and food on my property and it has not been touched last night.

After that torrential rain that came after sighting her on the second night of being lost (I think it was her under my car), she has not been seen. So for the last two nights no sign of her. On the third night food was eaten at the neighbours, but I don't know if she or another cat ate it.

Our temperatures have dropped to 13degrees at night and its very cold. (for us).

I am going to drive around tonight and also on foot and see if I can sight her. I haven't done flyers yet. If I can I will. Yesterday I checked at the pound, she wasn't there.

KITTEN UPDATE 12th April,2012

I received a call from a lady living in a parallel street had seen the kitten on Sunday after the torrential rain eating the cat biscuits she puts out for the possums!!!! I've got things mixed up, I have to check now whether it was before or after the torrential rain, that she saw the kitten. I'll ring her back tomorrow.

Saturday 21st: no sighting of the kitten.

After Lost last night (sub-par episode - who gives a shit about Jack's son?) we chatted up some strangers from the internet universe. We talked to some dorm bros rollin' on E, a BU student who was smoking cigs and bongs, a cool dude from Chile, and saw shit porn and a bodybuilder jackin' it. We got denied about 90% of the time, prompting us to realize we are too old for such things.

No one knows which way we're going.

We all get lost in dreams.

Enjoy the stride.

Prathyush, aka KP, lost in the thoughts of the cute Korean girls on the Beach...Last day of our Soraksan trip...We were supposed to spend more time on the beach, but we lost time due the heavy traffic...Turned out to be a hiking trip majorly...And he just loves hiking :) and eating and talking...And he loves everything that is expensive (yes, he's Korean)...

Seth: One of the coolest things we've seen was The Lost Gypsy gallery in the Catlins. This guy lives in a bus that is filled with gadgets and gizmos. Everything is wind or solar powered and made out of junk or recycled items. We spent hours winding everything up, playing with the toys, and deciphering all the hidden jokes.

The "lost animal" campaign uses a unique and eye catching tactic to educate the public about different ways that animals suffer from cruelty around the world. We've made it easy for people walking down the street to help animals by making a donation using their phone. Anyone can text to donate $5, or make a secure online donation through our mobile donation form.

If you live in Toronto, you may also see a "great ape mom" downtown with a baby stroller, handing out flyers about her missing baby. While some people passing by may find this amusing, it is designed to stop people in their tracks and compel them to take notice of what is a very serious issue.

We hope that the posters will raise awareness of WSPA's work to a wide audience and educate more people about the cruelty suffered by animals at the hands of humans.

Why did you choose bears, bonobos and whales?

Bears, bonobos and whales are all wild animals that are subjected to cruelty and are hunted by humans for entertainment, the pet trade, and food respectively. We wanted to use wild animals instead of dogs and cats so that our posters would not be confused with, or take attention away from, genuine "lost pet" posters.

Why is your educational campaign only running in Toronto?

Toronto is the most populated city in Canada, especially during the summer tourist season. It is our goal to reach as many people as possible with this campaign to raise awareness and end animal cruelty. Our intention is to expand this educational campaign to other cities in the near future.

How do I learn more?

The animals featured on the posters include great apes, bears and whales. Learn more about our programs to help these animals:

How will my donation help?

Your support will help WSPA stop the suffering of animals by ending cruelty towards them. For animals to live a life free from abuse and neglect, they need long-term, ongoing help from people like you.

Joining our Animal Rescue Team with a regular monthly donation of $15 or more is the best way you can make a real difference to animals' lives worldwide.

I've been searching for truth..

And I haven't been getting anywhere..

And I'm only here..

To bring you free love..

Has anyone lost a horse shoe?

Found in Bridle Brook Lane Allesley - very distinctive and obviously made specifically for a horse having a particular problem with its feet - so I would imagine it wasn't cheap!

It is also not very worn so maybe could be re-used. Call in Pikers Lane Farm.

Day 27/365

Today I went to Starbucks for my daily cup of happiness and this guy was standing outside with this crown on so you know I had to ask if I could take his picture! I didn't think to ask him why he was wearing it so I asked my baristas when I went inside. Apparently, he lost some bet! I don't know what the bet was but I give him cudos for wearing the crown and for letting me take his photo!

Detail of tree branch along Lost Lake Trail, Mar. 15, 2016, by Greg Shine, BLM.

A small freshwater lake surrounded by a peaceful coastal forest, the Lost Lake unit of the New River Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC) provides a quiet, contemplative location for hiking, birdwatching, and picnicking on Oregon’s South Coast.

One of approximately 20 lakes in Oregon named Lost Lake, this one features a hiking trail with scenic lakeside views and a connection to the New River through neighboring Bandon State Natural Area.

The trail begins at the small parking lot and follows the southern and western sides of the lake through a mature coastal forest. The beginning of the trail is flat with a hard-packed surface; the western portion has steep sections with loose sand. The one-way distance to New River is approximately 1.5 miles.

Running parallel to the Pacific Ocean for nine miles, New River is separated from the ocean by only a thin foredune of sand. Many rare birds, animals, and plants depend on New River's estuary, forest, meadow, wetland, and shrub habitat for survival. Dedicated almost exclusively to Watchable Wildlife, the area remains secluded and primitive, providing nature enthusiasts with short, rustic, self-guided loop trails to view wildlife. There are four main access points to New River ACEC: Storm Ranch, Floras Lake, Lost Lake, and Fourmile Creek.

Having Cerebral Palsy and epilepsy left Lee Ridley aka Lost Voice Guy locked in and unable to communicate. This didn't stop him and this stand up show yes stand up show was a very guilty pleasure to watch. The humour was dark and obviously based around his handicap. Using a pre- programmed ipad LVG entertained the crowd for just under an hour. Very glad i went to this. I liked his joke about how he synthesised with Stephen Hawkings. He also described his first communication device by saying that he may as well have carried a dwarf around who could do sigh language. Great show. We really don't know how lucky we are

He got distracted as they were leaving the grocery store and lost his mom. I watched as he stood there, tensing more and more with each passing second that he was alone. As I was about to put down the camera and lead him into the darkness where his mother was, I heard her call his name, and the tense little boy was immediately replaced with a jumping, hopping, and very relieved creature who ran into the night following the voice he loved so much.
