A find that's not easy to achieve every day....found this lost planet with my macro lens...no need to use a telescope!

Perfect calm, but just as the light tripped over into dusk a swell kicked up from nowhere (as from a boat, but none in sight?). Waves jumped up and splashed the camera and filters, and by the time I'd sorted that mess out my hands were blue and the light gone.

Project Soulpancake Week 24: Jump on a Bus Without Knowing the End Destination
I admit that I didn't get on a bus on this day. Or even the rest of the week, for that matter! I've spent the majority of my time stuck in front of my computer monitor (much to the dismay of my eyes, which feel as though they may fall out)...
However.
Paul and I went for a drive to Laindon/Basildon - where we can't help but get lost, and spend a long time trying to escape from - so I could find an unknown bus-stop for a photo.
I will do this challenge properly at some point, but as I know all my local bus routes, I'm going to have to get multiple buses to end up somewhere I don't know... Or travel into London purely to complete the challenge. So, this will do for now!
ETA: This is the closest I've come to a sunflare this week... I tried to capture one when the sun briefly peeked through the clouds on Friday, but it was not to be! So consider this my submission to Week 4 of the Summer Photo Challenge, too!
Holger was so lost in reading the catalogue at the vernissage that he partly disappeared. Luckily, everybody else was so busy being important that nobody noticed.
