A bit of minimalism, a form of expression I usually truly love, because it pushes to dwell on essential forms and almost unnoticed shades of light.

Here you can see a small tree, practically lost in endless fields of snow.

Location: Monti della Luna "Mountains of the Moon", (2.200 m), Italy.

Milky way rising over Mt Hood as the Aurora dances overhead. Was out here until around 2:30 AM this morning. Did not want to leave the show.

Running Monday to Friday, nicknamed the Lost Local, and typically having a rather photogenic set of power, this local for BNSF has some pretty classy operations. Originating out of the little treasure trove of Great Falls, MT the Lost Local is seen here on its run south to Fairfield, MT after already servicing the Elevator in Choteau.

This sailor girl is a bit lost on the Sittard market square. Where is her captain to guide her to a safe harbour?

Not that I have borrowed ideas but in the fact that her work as surely sub-conciously influenced me.

This E shape housing estate built in the 70's was made up of 5 blocks. It's high density has attracted the filming crew of Blockbuster "Transformers 4" and hence was nicknamed "The Monster Building".

Now seen as the perfect representative of Hong Kong's over populated community, it is often visited by photographers.

Me recuerda al principio de la primera escena de LOST.

En colaboración con Oriol (futhark), sin su gran angular no hubiera sido posible pillarlo de este modo. Y esta es su versión: www.flickr.com/photos/futhark/5940530399/in/photostream

It reminds me of the first scene of LOST.

In collaboration with Oriol (futhark), without the wide angle he lend me I wouldn't have been able to take this photo. And this is his version:www.flickr.com/photos/futhark/5940530399/in/photostream

Michael Giacchino - Moving On

Found this while walking in a park about 15+ years ago

'Father, father, where are you going?

O do not walk so fast!

Speak, father, speak to your little boy,

Or else I shall be lost.'

The night was dark, no father was there,

The child was wet with dew;

The mire was deep, and the child did weep,

And away the vapour flew.

That Moment You Realize That You Lost

This morning I walked around my local park, and was amused to see this lost shoe ... I understand lost hats and gloves, but a shoe :)

Yesterday my new computer arrived, so today I will be setting it up and transfering software ... fingers crossed it all goes well.

I would love to be in Maui right now, but home in Texas and reliving memories is where its at for now. Another capture from the islands that never made its way into the photostream and so I thought I would give it a chance. This is the King Protea which is originally from South Africa but does nicely in the tropical condition in Hawaii. It has the largest flower head of any of the Protea family and can be anywhere from 5 to 12 inches in diameter. It’s quite a beautiful flower.
