ODC: 8/31/2016: Up in the air

Framed to avoid most of the modern accessories, like street lights, traffic lights, advertising emblazoned shop windows...

Even powerlines are almost entirely missing!

A kind of urban petrified forest.

In a rut. Will spring hurry up and show up? And is decent clouds too much too ask? (oh, this is whiney indeed, they were textbook perfect on friday. But it´s just I need one photo for each day, and gosh, am feeling bored. And boring.)

Was at a MALL meeting held in the Ramsey County Courthouse tonight. In front of the elevators sits a giant onyx statue, weighing roughly 60 tons and standing 36 feet high, that rotates v-e-r-r-r-y slowly during the day. This shot is looking up at the mirrored ceiling from the feet of the statue. I had only my phone camera with me; you can see a much better photo here.
