I'm probably going to hell for this but honestly, doesn't it look like Jesus is tossing a pizza? Cemetery mosaic.

we interrupt the museum opening to bring you autumn on eugenia street

Came across a couple of apple trees on the south end of the lake near the campground.

I've been trying to get a picture of this for awhile. In the interest of full disclosure, this is the first time I've been reduced to staging a shot of Pete acting insane. Usually he does it all on his own. I put the shrimp on a stick on top of the doorbell ringer thing. I confess, it was me.

Pete frequently sits on the music chest and gauges the portal potential of that tempting little box on the wall. I don't think he's ever actually jumped it, although it's doable for him. I dread the day he starts trying - there's just no good way to fall there - all hardwood floors and breakable objects.

The shrimp on a stick goaded him closer to a jump than I'd ever seen him get - he was standing on his hind legs with his paws up the wall and did a couple test bounces, while I scrambled to get the shrimp down. (Right now, he's sitting outside the barrister bookcase talking to the shrimp.)

In case you're new to Pete's antics or don't grasp just how insane Pete is, he has jumped the lamp behind him before.

One of the MANY pics I've taken of storm clouds. I've literally watched them "build up" over the fields on my farmland only to watch the Evening News & realize that SAME storm spawned a tornado, or at the LEAST, done extensive damage in a town that was in its path! They're SCARY but BEAUTIFUL!!
