The Marine Drive Road at Puri stretches from Puri Hotel at one end to Light House at other end.
"The Banyan (Ficus benghalensis) is a fig tree that begins life as an epiphyte, germinating in the crevices of a host tree or other structure. As it grows, the banyan tree produces aerial roots that hang down and take root wherever they touch the ground. These thick roots actually make the tree appear to have several trunks."

A possible contender for my 52 week photo challenge book shot for this coming week . An idea for something else ended up taking this shot which should fit the bill for the subject - a silhouette . The different types of trees up there can be seen by the different shapes of leaves up there .
