My husband had a blast from the past a few days ago - someone he went to school with called him up out of the blue and asked if she and her son could stay with us for the week-end because the kid was playing in a hockey tournament nearby. She lives in some little town and heard he had moved here. She figured the renovation couldn't be so bad that they couldn't stay. One bathroom, lady. You're looking at it. From the kitchen.
This was a one shot deal. My husband was removing the floor boards and I was below, taking things out of the house to keep the accumulated debris to a minimum. He sat down on the tub for a break and I said Hold it! That's my shot! Camera set to ten shots after the delay. The last two show me sitting.
This has been a crazy week. I got a phone call yesterday that made the world shift yet again. And my husband's kid graced us with his presence for an hour yesterday (Yup. That's tone you're hearing there). Our bathroom is pretty much non-existent. Between those three things, yesterday (all by itself) was pretty hellish. I need a holiday.

...that you just have to take. no matter how many times its been done, its just got to be done once more if not just for me!
The white streak is some kind of scratch or something that happens lately when sunlight is coming close to sideways across my photos. I actually like how it came up (accidentally) so nearly lined up with the rebar.
While lolling in the pool, I wondered where the sun had gone and turned around to see this.
Luckily the Coolpix was handy :) G+ PH Insta
Today I worked from home. So when the time came to pick up the kids from daycare, I went with Jane. We went to Sydney's class first. Jane said to me, "Let's see who she comes to first." We both stood there and when Sydney saw us, she yelled out, "Daaaaaaaaaaddy!" and she came running into into my arms. I was enjoying every second of it. :o) It was only when Jane asked her, "How about Mommy?", did she go over and give Jane a hug. :D hehe.
Anyways I shot this at the park. After picking up the kids, we grabbed some quality food at Del Taco and headed over to the park for a mini picnic. Unfortunately the sun was setting and it was getting a bit cold, so we didn't stay very long.
Love the reflection in her eyes. View it large and you can see me as well as the sun setting behind me.
