Looking up from my book, I saw these lovely clouds during my lunch break.

Young white tailed deer, Shaker Lakes Nature Center, Cleveland Ohio

This week, I experienced some issues with my eyes; they became so tired that I could barely keep them open. To reduce any unnecessary strain, I decided to deactivate the social media accounts I could and log off from those for which I didn’t remember the password. I’ve chosen to keep only Flickr and Instagram for staying connected with friends and for entertainment purposes. That’s about it, and I'll definitely limit my posting for now.

Strictly speaking a confluence is a meeting of rivers/streams, but here I see a meeting of streams of air between closely packed buildings in a crowded London.

I look forward to returning here with my fish-eye lens.

Still putting on a wonderful display in the garden.

Flypaper processing...a fly edge, Dawn Grunge and Brushed Rose.

This sums up my love of 'light and dark', composition and perspective. The tower is certainly impressive, surprisingly hard to find the base but when you do wow it doesn't start on the ground. I was also practising with Exposure Compensation as part of a course.

I was standing in near complete dark shade surrounded by the buildings, I wanted to keep the extreme contrast between the light sky and dark shade so had to boost the EV but wanted to keep a high f-stop to try keeping a sharp image.

This was hand-held.

I had a cookie for her and she really wanted it!

A view directly up, taking in the skyscraper huddle in the City of London, including The Leadenhall Building, St. Helen’s Tower, 22 Bishopsgate, 100 Bishopsgate and 1 Great St. Helens. This area has been changing rapidly since the turn of the millennium, and more new towers seem to be cropping up every year these days …

Crazy Tuesday theme for this week is "Looking Up" Photo of flower looking up.
