Trying to find a way to show the feeling of an opening within yourself. Flying out almost, pushing forward and embracing the future.. I'm not to fond of the setting for this picture. I mostly needed a reference for a quick painting I was doing. Considering re-doing the picture itself.

Lately I've been spending a lot less time on Flickr, posting fewer photos and not commenting nearly as much as I should be since you all post such super beautiful photos! My life has been extremely busy for the past few weeks, and it's going to get even busier!!
I'm headed to Korea tonight, and when I come back on Wednesday morning I get right back on a plane... I'm going home!! I'll be there for a few days before the snow gets to be too much to bear and then Ryan and I are jetting off for a tropical vacation. I have so much to look forward to!!
I won't be around much for the next few weeks, but I'll miss you all!

My limoncello is bottled and ready for summer. It still has a few weeks to sit until it is officially finished. Unofficially, it is a good batch~ not too sweet, full of lemon flavor and packs a big punch.
...and open to positive things I know are to come.
The landscape changes so quickly, I'm going to blink and the corn will be drying and ready for fall decoration. I wanted to capture a picture while I thought of it before that happens. The last time I was in the corn, it was barely up to my knees.
I finally got my computer sorted out today. Working on re-installing software and copying over images, LR catalogs, and iTunes. Important things first, then the rest on an as-needed basis. So far, it's been a really fun and also productive weekend and I am looking forward to a fun day tomorrow. I better go pack my gear.

Seduti su una panchina, immaginando il domani. Teorizzando il futuro, sognando mondi lontani. Laggiù, oltre l'orizzonte, proprio là dove il sole va a dormire...
Morning has come with the first rays of sun
Breaking through our windowpane
Songs fill the air but there's no singer there
Just an old wooden guitar playing
Writing this song won't take very long
Trying not to use the world "old"
Thinking about taking chances and doubts
That still linger in the cold
Looking forward, all that I can see
Is good things happening to you and to me
I'm not waiting for times to change
I'm gonna live like a free-roaming soul
On the highway of our love
Looking forward, all that I can see
Is good things happening to you and to me
I'm not waiting for times to change
I'm gonna live like a free-roaming soul
Morning has come with the first rays of sun
Breaking through our windowpane
Songs fill the air but there's no singer there
Just an old wooden guitar playing
Posting for the 30 days of gratitude has come to its cessation. I have spent the last month expressing thoughts and photos of things that I am thankful for. I pray my gratitude does not end here. I pray I continue to constantly be aware of how I am so blessed each and every day of my life. I look forward with anticipation and much gratitude…forward to a special birthday celebration we call Christmas; and forward to a brand new year. I also look back and try to count my many many blessings, as if it were possible. I am so thankful for each day and all that they have brought to me, whatever reason, good and bad. God is in control and He knows best! The past, the present, the future!
30/30 Today I am grateful for what lies ahead and what has been.
