The water stream coming off the propellers of the Queen of the sea as i looked back at the brittania bridge.

Stayed local yesterday looking for something different to photograph, sat on a tree stump watching about half a dozen of these little birds dart around in the trees, I would like to say this is a Willow Warbler due to the yellow tinge around its chest but it could very well be a Chiffchaff, there were definitely Chiffchaffs in the trees but I think this WW was amongst them, there were no shortage of Chiffchaffs as I encountered pockets of them on my short walk around the park, this is yet another bird that doesn't sit still for long so you gotta be quick to get a snap! :)

Thanks to those who look and take the time to comment, it's very much appreciated.

The twin lights on Thacher Island are aligned on a North-South line to aid mariners. From the South Tower summit, the low rocky islands known as the Dry Salvages (always above water) and the Little Salvages (not so much) can be seen beyond the other tower.

(The local pronunciation, BTW: "sal-VAY-jez." Every place has its idiosyncrasies.)

A cold but nice and sunny afternoon to take pics yesterday. I been wanting to try a from below POV in winter, so here it is.

I hope everyone enjoys this image! :D

It's a first. While working on the video clip I saw some shots I didn't get to post,so I felt this would be great way to get them in,hence the title.Plug in your earphones for this one.The video clip was made through Samsung Studio,an editing and video feature on my phone.Give it a try,it was fun.

The number of towers in the city has multiplied over the years - now there are wide and tall towers plus narrow and extra tall towers. Here are a couple of them. Lots of windows, glass, curves and blues on a bright cloudless day. HMMM:)

The curvy one on the left is Australia 108. For more information on it's height, etc,: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia_108

Non ci stiamo provando troppo?

Perché è nelle nostre mani

E' nelle nostre mani

E' tutto lì: nelle nostre mani.

Well

now

aren't we scaring ourselves

unecessarily?

aren't we trying too hard?

'Cause it's in our hands

it's in our hands

it's all here : it's in our hands

There was a time when there was a lot of hoopla about Google+. Everybody seemed to be raving about it. I ended up posting there as well as Flickr for awhile, then I nearly disappeared from Flickr and posted solely on Google+.

Well, G+ eventually faded away, and I'm back full time of Flickr. I've been trying to figure out images that never made it to Flickr during that period of time...this is one of those images.

Thanks nedlugr for reminding me of this image.
