Have a good Friday and stay healthy. 🌸
Many thanks for all your views, faves and comments
I usually like to look out to sea but for once I've turned the other way!
View LARGE on Black for a better view!
Looking up into the sycamore in the garden. Seems to go on forever. When it threw off the helicopter seeds, it was the most we have ever seen and since they are quite prolific, we’ve been doing quite a bit of weeding before we have a forest of them! I love trees but I have not got the room for hundreds of these large trees.
When I tire of taking photos I look at the work of others and what they are up to in their photography. It works every time ... I am inspired to pick up my camera and shoot.
A case in point is this sampling (from my TV screen) of a couple of photographers; Olga Karlovic and Alexey Titarenko (all rights reserved to them of course). I confess I have too many photography books for our small lakeside A-frame cottage.

Looking out of a frozen icy window.
I wore a black hood pulled over my head, and the sun was shining through the window. I positioned the camera so it would put my face in shadow, but the window would be in the light.
A CSX business train tippy-toes across the former Wabash at Ashburn.
The train was running on Canadian National's Elsdon Subdivision on an inspection trip from Indianapolis via the Monon and the CN's Grand Trunk to the Belt's Clearing Yard and then to Danville via Dolton and the C&EI.
the Arc by Concord Pacific. Press L for full screen. The crooked horizontal line of light at the bottom of the bridge (when looking up) was the reflection of a, well swimming pool! That's kinda cool isn't it? :)

Looking south from Moel Gyw over to Moel Llanfair and Moel Y Plas.
Not the most dramatic landscape but its a quiet walk. Only seen two people all day.
It has been a while since I have been out and about taking pictures. With the cold spell over I will have to get out there, but for the mean time a dip into the archives.
Taken this past Autumn, my buddy Dean stopped in for a quick visit. Seeing he had brought his thunder machine (yep it is pretty loud), I knew I had to get a shot. He really is a big softie, but I asked him for a tough look. Converting to B&W I was able to get away with boosting contrast to perhaps give a bit more of a dramatic look.
I really don't know anything about motorcycles, but I have to admit that they can look pretty cool.
