A gorilla stuck in an artificial jungle that was created especially for her. But still she is wondering how live on the outside would be like...

Basically its an angel/fairy type person that has been caught, a bit like people catch butterflies.
My wings kind of fail but yeah.
It was really hard to take this because i had to jump onto my windowsill, which is quite high and not very wide at all, in under 10 seconds. haha
The sun streamed through the window and cascaded its warm rays on the cold interior. First her face reddened, then her belly burned from the glow. She stretched her toes upward toward the sky and felt the cold peel away as the waves of warmth tickled across the side of her elongated leg. All the while, the guitars and drums bounced along in the background. A perfect Sunday, a missed one, too.

Dallas Barto : "Whether I'm gazing longingly out the picture window from the top of the smooshed love seat or chasing the asshole ghosts around the house... a nice bottle of Pepsi always hits the spot!"
I took this on our vacation to Pinetop last summer, but just now 'found' it in my archives and edited it up...
Non-Breeding Caspian Tern staring into the distance - I don't know what it's longing for, but I suspect it may just have to do with the fact the tide was coming back in, and the crabs who previously had produces all the little balls around its feet have retreated too deep for the Tern to make a useful meal out of!
Between the fog and the sea stacks, Olympic National Park is a place I hope to return to one day. In this photo the tide was coming in and I thought I had missed my chance to get up onto this rock. I set the camera on a tripod on the beach and put it on a timer. The only way up onto this spot without going through water was to run around to the other side of the rock. As the timer was counting down I caught a lucky break as a big wave was just receding and I climbed onto the rock to get to this spot, unsure if I got there in time. After I was certain the amount of time on the timer had passed, I realized I had became stranded. I could see my tripod and camera on the beach but now big waves were coming in and preventing me from getting off the rock without getting my only pair of shoes and pants wet. I stayed on the rock for nearly 15 min waiting for the waves to die down, staring at my camera as people on the beach walked past it. Finally enough water had drained after a big wave that I made a leap and was able to get to sand. I raced back to my camera and was thrilled to see I had made it into the shot.

22/52 Longing
It's not like I’ve always been someone that leaned on dwelling, but I’ve always been full of longing. I’ve longed for my childhood even when it didn’t even had ended. I felt so sorrowful for moments I had yet to experience, because I knew I would never want to let them go. I’ve longed to be wild and more given at times when I felt my heart was echoing more surrender than freedom. I’ve longed to be more than what I am at given times as I’m sure we all did. I’ve longed for things I never had and swallowed oceans of hurt for realities that I was so grateful were not mine.
To live is to always want more, and it’s hard to actually realize we don’t need more than we already have, most times. And longing is not like suffering, it’s just yearning. Yearning to be embraced by past feelings, almost like a calling to sing to the thunder. It’s graceful and as empty as it is full. And beautiful as it is cordially a foe. It never ends and can not really be explained. It succumbs to words as I succumb to it so, so easily.
I almost forgot to take a photo this week. Work is kicking hard and I’ve been so tired I almost ended up having to shoot something with no light, today.
It’s going to get harder and harder to be able to create the kind of images I hope to create but I’m here still, trying to hold to this with all the strength I can gather to keep at it. 🌟
