5. The London loop Section 17: Cockfosters to Enfield Lock
Alongside the path locally known as the Jubilee Path as it was opened in the Queen's Silver Jubilee year
When the LOOP was first opened this lavender farm hadn't even been planted. The first lavender wasn't planted until 2002.
The church at Harrow on the Hill is a landmark for miles around. One day I shall do the Capital Ring, the London LOOP's little sibling. The route of that walk passes right by the church
February 2022.
North East London Ramblers walk along the London Loop path from Uxbridge to Moor Park.
This was one of the more interesting pieces of rubbish I found. I wonder whether the shoe was lost on a night out on the town or thrown from a car window?

One of British Airways' Concordes, Alpha-Bravo, sits unloved beyond a staff car park on the Hatton Cross side of Heathrow Airport.
In Pages Wood Park, there's also a nice nature trail with wooden carvings of animals with a description of each. Rather lovely.
Here's the one of a newt. I love the little plaque that says "come see where I live! too.
Rather depressingly, this was to prove to be one of the highlights of the day.
