Locked in love, on old Port ofTel Aviv boardwalk.
The port is not active anymore, BUT it was transformed during last years into a lively center of cafes, restaurants, boutiques and just a fun place to spend leisure time any hour of the day...
The disused remains of Llanthony Lock, Gloucester on 19th September 1989.
Built in 1871 it allowed boats to bypass the weir at Gloucester. The lock was very deep in order to cope with flood level variations and in 1924 the lock walls were found to be subsiding. Repairs were considered uneconomical and the lock was infilled for most of its depth to stabilise the structure.
The lock is set to be restored at some time in the future, forming part of the access that will connect the Herefordshire & Gloucestershire Canal to the rest of the network.

No sense at all, do what you want for I will hunt you Untill you will be Locked away
just so what you'll be scred of me, Behind my power I will hide all my fears
Right now you are punished for absolutely nothing. And I feel so good Because once more I don't have to be honest
With myself While you're locked away Just so you'll be scared of me behind my power
I will hide all my fears

Taken in St. Mullins Co. Carlow just beyond the lock gates. Nice few boats in various states of quality.
Please fave and follow.
Thanks.
Number One and (the still incomplete) Number Two, Humber Quays, with the lock gates at the entrance to Hull Marina in the foreground. My next shot was to be one taken from the lock gates, but as I was setting up my tripod on gangway I was asked to move by the lock keeper so that he could open the gates.
Sandford Lock is located on the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation River and Canal not too far from the City of Chelmsford in the County of Essex (UK).
In the distance is Bundock's Bridge which dates back to the opening of the Navigation in 1797 and is classified as a Grade II listed building.
This location is just one nautical mile virtually to the inch from my home. A very amiable part of the world and a lovely towpath walk from Chelmsford city centre which eventually ends up about 10 miles away in the town of Maldon.
