LOVED the idea that I saw in the gallery to highlight travel spots. "favorite" photos wasn't working too well bc I didn't have enough "favorites" . . . Believe it or not, that paper is red even though it looks a tad orangey/pink in the photo - doesn't help that I had to use a flash either.
Some old photos scrapped! These are mostly 1996 when DD started school, DS is 3 years older. Sketch from BPC class 28 days of sketches by Lisa day. A mimimalist page, if I carry on like this my stash will last for about 100 years!!!:)

Colby's face fills with intense looks as he loads a film magazine inside the bag. Actually I think he was downloading, but that's of little importance here.
Oliver received a book a day for Twenty -Five -Days of Christmas. At the age of 3, he loved books and to be read too, but wanted to read to others so it all began with my daughter's childhood record player, then the tape cassettes and finally the CD's.
So proud of you Ollie as you now read by yourself to your baby brother.

Phew! We had a power outage and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to finish this on time! Taking the geography prompt to our summer road trip. Used an old Heidi Swapp map print that's been in my stash WAY too long!

A Favorite Memory-
Our homeymoon was a favorite memory, one of many. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, it's fun to look back. In January 1987, we left snowy MA for sunny Barbados-a tropical paradise-aqua water, coconut-pineapple bread, open air restuarants, crazy bus ride, native wanting to sell us 'aloe', we thought he was saying 'hello'...
I ran into printer problems yesterday while trying to scan and print hese photos, hence the lateness...better late than never!
Loading my Archer for a relief flight orgainized by Lakeview Aviation, Largo Vista, Texas. Orgainized by local Baptist churches. Note the old RF-4C guarding the fuel pumps.
We needed to transport 650 tiles, keep them moist, and prevent them from getting damaged. (oh-and it was like 10 degrees outside so we couldn't let them freeze either.)
After pricing milk crates and factoring in size requirements we realized it would be easier to make our own boxes.
Dubai Day 8 - This was a busy day first went to see some sailing dowes and loading docks. Then nearby was the Dubai Gold Sook so went there, you couldn't walk 5 metres with out someone asking you to buy a copy watch. But went to a fabric Store and got Jules an African style hat to cheer him up! Then went to the Dubai Mall to see if we could go up the Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world!) but we would have had to wait 7 hours and pay 4 times the price of a normal ticket to go up the same day, so we didn't. But still got to see it and overall was a good day fitted lots in!
