This was a redemption shot for me - earlier in the day LI 515 was heading lite to Port Jeff yard during a jaw-dropping blue hour, but I underestimated how quickly they were moving and couldn't get set up for a shot in time. Tried chasing it all the way out to the yard but left empty handed, however the return trip turned out to be another lite DM30 meaning I’d get a second chance. Seen here is LI 501 on the return move through Kings Park through the beginning of a snowstorm. From the five minutes I was standing on the platform my camera accumulated a decent half-inch of snow on top, but I'd say it was well worth it.
