For this photo, I liquified my cousins neck, cheeks, and ears. For this photo, I wanted to make sure that I didn't change her body size so I only liquified her face. Then I also made sure that her head wasn't smaller than her whole body.

Homemade Pizza Sauce
6 Tomatos, liquified in the Magic Bullet Express 17-Piece High-Speed Blender Mixing System
1 onion chopped (again in the Magic Bullet Express 17-Piece High-Speed Blender Mixing System
)
2 Tbs Oregano
2 Tbs Sugar
1 Tbs Garlic Powder
Place all items into a saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened. (about 1.5 hours)
Flat Bread
6 c. flour
2 tbsp. garlic salt
1 c. shortening
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 qt. warm milk
Mix flour, salt and baking powder together. Warm the milk and add the shortening to it. Mix all together and roll out on a floured surface. Divide into equal amounts. Roll into circle about 1/8 inch thick. Fry in pan on medium heat till golden and flip.
to Assmeble Pizza:
1 Flat bread placed on cookie sheet. Layer with sauce, cheese, desired toppings, and cheese and bake at 350 till cheese has melted.

I spent about three hours in photoshop on this image.
The retouching process included the following:
removing blemishes
removing stray hairs
reshaping jaw, neck, eyes, nose and mouth
adding contrast, color and sharpness
adding detail and color to the eyes
masking out her hair, neck and ear
....etc.... + much much more.

This photo uses Photoshop filter "Liquify"on a duplicate of the one I call the "original" for this series of 10 variations using Photoshop to complete a painterly effect as a sci-fi illustration. Since I read a lot of science fiction, these experiments are my first attempt at deliberately seeking such an effect. The liquify brush was used sparingly on the alien body and head to give a bit of organic emergence.
All 10 images are in this series and in the set created for such experiments, here. Each image lists the specific Photoshop filter used as the only change from the base work here.

**Seriously though, I exercised for the first time in a year!! Woo HOO! Spent an hour in the garage with hubby (and the princess joined us too) I actually enjoyed it. Did the 20 min on the elliptical (a pre-set program that kicked my @ss). then some sit ups & the leg machine :) WIsh me luck!
On a side note, I am not sure I can do this 366 thing much longer. Maybe after I complete the kids 365. I just can't do 3 pics a day. I hate to be a quiter, but I think I bit off more then I can swallow. I am ding the 52 weeks of my kids and I, so can we call it focusing my energy time elsewhere rather then quitting?
