The Robber Fly doesn't hesitate to fully attack prey larger than itself in mid-air. Upon capture, the fly will inject its prey with saliva to immobilise and liquify the victim. And after a suitable interval this chappie will suck up the soupy meal.

Enbridge built a gas compressor in Weymouth, MA despite local concerns about safety of the surrounding community and constructed Line 3 in Minnesota through untouched wetlands and the treaty territories of Anishinaabe peoples and is currently under investigation for aquifer breaches while National Grid is constructing pipelines and replacing liquified natural gas vaporizers as well as investing billions in gas pipelines.

Soft drinks cooled in liquified gas

Ok, so I didn't take this self portrait today, I took it about 23 years ago. But I scanned it and liquified it just now. Inspired by the Peter Gabriel 3 album art by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis. I haven't tried to replicate the cover exactly, that would have taken all day - he did it with a Polaroid SX-70, then melted and dragged the surface of the polaroid if I remember right.

Here I experimented with a black and white tiled background and the liquify tool on photoshop to create a background that was used as a layer in my Earth and Moon piece.

i used the forward warp tool on her nose and mouth creating a beak. then used the pucker tool on her eyes to bring them together. then i used the bloat tool on her arms to make her a body builder.
