It takes me 2 days to dilute the entire paste, but in the end I get 3 full gallons of wonderful handmade shower gel that I can also use as a shampoo. Surfactant free and 100% natural! I scent it to order, and only sell it after it has sat and rested for 6 weeks.

First I measure everything I need to make the soap. I have my water, my potassium hydroxide and my oils and butters.

I boiled more distilled water and added it to the soap paste. Notice the clear gel forming around it now as the soap melts into the water.
