...filled with green liquid soap. Captured for Macro Mondays theme: backlit. HMM everyone!

There's a reason it's called Foaming Hand Soap, as a quick shake of the bottle makes clear.

Macro Mondays: "Soap" theme

HMM

Liquid soap and glycerine left to form a surface film then angled the lens at 45 degrees to try to catch the colors reflected as the sun hit the liquid. Didn't get the result I expected, but happy enough with this. Need to get a macro lens

For the Macro Monday challenge "Soap" (May 17th 2021)

I tried so many kinds of soap ... I just couldn't make my mind up! Finally I decided that I loved the sunlight and spotlights on the bubbles best of all!

TFL - Can Hold Liquid

Medicinal droppers can hold all sorts of liquids but in this case, I loaded it with liquid soap and used a 12mm extension tube with my Sony 18-135mm lens to capture it oozing out a drop of gooey pink soap containing an air bubble topped off with a soap bubble being blown at the end of the dropper.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the results, expecting to just catch a drop of soap.

How was this done? Make a mixture of Glycol (Glycerol BP), liquid soap, and colorant in a small bowl. Blow mix with a straw and create bubbles. Then blow bubbles onto paper and let them burst. Change colors to get different effects.

Try it ... it's fun!!

I "saw" a face in the finished result and added colors by hand to areas to enhance the image.
