When I did my last photo I remembered Venxia, a place I have not visited a long time.
Venexia is a dark role-play SIM and in my opinion one of the building highlights in second life.

De grindtreinen van Caffiers zullen u waarschijnlijk niet onbekend in de oren klinken. VFLI is het afgelopen jaar druk bezig geweest met het rijden van deze treinen richting Amiens. Vandaar dat de meeste foto's ook op het dieselbaanvak tussen Rang du Fliers gemaakt werden. Per dag kunnen er tot 3 treinen bij daglicht richting Amiens sporen. De eerste die zeer vroeg rijdt is slechts te fotograferen in de zomermaanden. Rond de middag vertrekt er nog eentje, dewelke ongeveer het ganse traject goed rijdt met de zon tot Abbeville.
De laatste van de dag vertrekt in de late namiddag vanuit Caffiers. Daardoor staat de zon al te ver doorgedraaid langs de diesellijn. Mijn oog viel op een mooi punt tussen Caffiers en Boulogne. Dit punt bleek niet echt goed mee te vallen. Dus koos ik voor het fotopunt vanop de brug bij Honvault. Hier stond de zon nog niet goed, maar het doorkomstuur was me helaas onbekend. Ik had de loc alleen maar zien staan in groeve. De treinbestuurder wou wel dadelijk gaan vertrekken toen ik nog in Ferques (het dorpje bij de groeve) was. Dus dat moest wel goed komen.
Gelukkig duurde het toch een tijdje zodat ik nog mijn ladder kon gaan halen om tegen het hek te zetten. Ik wachtte namelijk tot op het moment dat de ter-trein het station binnen kwam om vervolgens terug te lopen naar de wagen! Ik was net op tijd terug wanneer de TGV naar Boulogne passeerde. Daarna moest ik nog wachten tot iets voor half 19h. Toen kwam deze mooie witte sleep Nacco-wagens eraan, gesleept door de Euro4035.
Enkele groene hekkens (links in beeld) werden naderhand digitaal verwijderd, alsook een bovenleidingsdraad die voor de loc hing.

Montana Rail Link units are mid train helpers that will shortly return to Helena after helping this grain train over Mullan Pass. SD40-2XR 265 in Operation Lifesaver paint was rebuilt from a C&NW SD40.

Montana Rail Link’s MLAUMIS (Laurel to Missoula manifest freight, commonly called the LM) edges the calm Missouri River in Lombard Canyon at Lombard, Montana, on September 22, 2009. Powering today’s freight is a pair of EMD SD70ACes and an older SD40-2XR.
A westbound BNSF manifest freight powered by three Montana Rail Link SD45s crests Bozeman Pass at it exits Bozeman Pass Tunnel at West End, Montana, on September 28, 2014. The longer and more-restrictive original bore is on the right, and was bypassed when the new Bozeman Pass Tunnel opened for traffic on July 28, 1945.
Five Montana Rail Link EMD six-axle locomotives, used as a helper set on Bozeman Pass, head downgrade back to Livingston glinting the setting sun on October 10, 2005. Westbound trains get plenty of help by this set, with MRL No. 390 leading a SD45-2 and a trio of SD45s for a total of 100 cylinders producing 10,800 horsepower.

Montana Rail Link’s Paradise local trundles over Bridge 208 west of Donlan, Montana, on September 23, 2009. Normally, the local flies through here after finishing up switching at Tricon Timber in St. Regis, but today it has a ‘restricted speed’ crane bringing up the rear. This bridge was one of five spans crossing the Clark Fork built when the cutoff between St. Regis and Paradise was constructed in 1909. In 1989, MRL determined that it needed upgrading to support modern tonnage ratings, and instead of replacing it, superimposed arches were added in place in the existing structure. The MRL bridge gang also added a new concrete ballast deck and completed the job on October 3, 1990.
The original French sentiment was from a poem by Rosemonde Gerard and addressed to her beloved husband Edmond Rostand, the famous French writer of Cyrano de Bergerac. Written in 1890 but not published until 1889. known as "L'éternelle chanson (The Eternal Song). It expresses an ever growing love.
