INTRODUCING your Illuminate APRIL Lineup!
Illuminate April has a lot in store for you!! Stay tuned for MORE EXCITING NEWS!!!
The “line_up“ is a paperwork series I developed since 2010. The “liners” are made out of paper (Din A3/A4),
oil paint and graphite. The theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers.

A lineup of the vintage vehicles brought down to North Berwick for a run as part of the East Coast Buses open day.
The last time I was at Neskowin, the tide was low enough (and the Little Nestucca River shallow enough) that I was able to wade over to the south side of the beach, where the ghost forest can be seen at low tide. I still haven't been able to find public access to this south side without having to cross the river, which isn't always possible. The new housing development on the south side is gated, and even if you try to walk through the area on the streets there are "private" signs up everywhere. It sucks. What good is having a state with public beaches if you can't get to them? I suppose they figure that if you really wan to get to the south side of the beach, you'll cross the river that flows towards Proposal Rock, but there are times when that would be downright dangerous. Sigh. Ah well.

At the Parade of Trains events hosted by the NY Transit Museum, tradition is to line up the equipment from the event on the express and siding tracks north of Ocean Pkwy for group photos. Because there were 5 vintage trains this year, the lineup was done twice, swapping the BU Gate Cars and R32s. This was the first lineup, with a fifth train in the form of a revenue service Q train.
From left to right:
R10 3189 (ACF, 1948-1949)
AB Standard 2392 (ACF, 1914-1919)
BU Gate Car 1404 (Jewett, 1907)
R1 "Arnine" 381 (ACF, 1930-1931)
R68 (Westinghouse-Amrail, 1986-1988)
Lots of Surfers out on a pretty flat evening. I suspect just being out on the water at this time of day was the draw rather than the wave. kindly note the dolphins off in distance.
My take/edit on the hyper five lineup. Was definitely an awesome experience seeing them all together and being driven hard.
