Cyron took this shot from the same location.

and Kara took this one from there too.

It was easy to see the full moon's reflection on the water. There was a bit of cloud covering it, but the reflections were there. In the background is Kitsilano area of Vancouver, BC. Photo taken from my balcony in West Vancouver, BC.

I haven't had much chance to play around with my reflector yet. But one thing I did see a few other photographers do recently, that I very much liked, was using it behind the subject rather than in front of.

I also did this in a very small (less than 3x6') room so there was a significant amount of light bouncing happening. Especially since one wall of the room is actually a very tall mirror. :)

I go into a bit more detail about this over my blog!

This was taken in Chicago this weekend on my way home to Michigan.. don't generally recommend taking photos while driving, however I wasn't actually moving.. stuck in a traffic jam! During sunset though, it was pretty. :)

I was in Laurinburg, NC for a work related event. After the event, since my wife had to work, I continued on to Hamlet to visit the depot and museums. A nurses uniform, shoes and other items displayed in the Visitor's Center museum.

Dining Room of National Trust property, Ormesby Hall

Taken while working when the Hall was closed to visitors. I nipped in and thought how much it looked like where a Murder Mystery style intrigue might have taken place so I popped off a quick few shots.

FYI: There has never been any 'murder mystery style intrigue' at this property :-P
