My camera suddenly woke up.

25sec exposure (within the same minute, so that time stayed the same).

Galaxies of Christmas lights reflected in the exposed organ pipes.

This fishshoal was shot with my Olympus-720SW while snorkeling in Mallorca. The original photo was more light green coloured, but I trimmed it a little and ended up with this one.

Another effect of my trimming has been the more significant vertical streaks over the bodies of the fish. An interesting thing about this is, that these are not a part of the skin, but shaped as light reflections through the waving surface.

Last night, I went into the City of Sydney to view firsthand the spectacular VIVID SYDNEY, #vividsydney a festival of light, music and ideas. Vivid Sydney runs from 24 May – 10 June 2013.

This image is one of my long exposure photographs of the bright and colorful projections of light on the Sydney Opera House. These colorful projections were continuously changing making Sydney Harbour look like a piece of art.

Colouring the city with creativity and inspiration, Vivid Sydney highlights include the hugely popular immersive light installations and projections; Vivid Aquatique immersive water theatre; performances from local and international musicians at Vivid LIVE at Sydney Opera House and the Vivid Ideas Exchange featuring public talks and debates from leading global creative thinkers.

The Sydney Opera House was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 28 June 2007. It is one of the 20th century's most distinctive buildings and one of the most famous performing arts centers in the world.

The Sydney Opera House is on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It sits at the north-eastern tip of the Sydney central business district (the CBD), surrounded on three sides by the harbour (Sydney Cove and Farm Cove) and inland by the Royal Botanic Gardens.

This is another view of the Yokohama Landmark Tower ,

long exposures are always fun

The combination of the river and the different coloured lights produced this stunning exposure.

October 9, 2017 - Grape tomatoes my wife purchased.

View of the Brisbane River and CBD taken from the Goodwill Bridge.

This one I did bother to setup the tripod for. The dark sky doesn't do much for me, and the spot on the bridge doesn't seem to work as well as across the river, as such, but the coloured reflections are pretty all the same.

I couldn't decide which Lighthouse photo I liked more, as the night progressed I feel the pictures just got better and better. In the end I decided to keep these 3. The light burst and the reflection off of the water was excellent in each one, which is wait I was mainly going for.

I haven't taken any abstracts for a while, so I felt the need to get absorbed in some abstract colour and light on Friday night. I got carried away!

The setting sun is reflecting off of the dome of the Keck Observatory, one of the largest of the thirteen international observatories located on the summit of Mauna Kea. This observatory is affiliated with the California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech) and Cornell University but scientists from all over the world irrespective of the association come here to observe the heavens. The photograph does not do justice to the colors of the sky when seen from 13,976 feet (4205m) above sea level.
