After a heavy rain, some of the flowers had wonderful water drops. The large drop reflected back the colours of the flower and its green buds.
Yes, these are Sweet Peas; they were my Mom's favourites so I always think of her when I see them. They grow in a local garden in many different colours.

A Costa da Morte está repleta de leyendas relacionadas con el culto pagano, el culto a las piedras. Existen en esta zona, muchas piedras que fueron o todavía siguen siendo objeto de culto, como es el caso del Santuario de la Virgen de la Barca en Muxia.

El bosque estaba desamparado. Necesitaba un árbol que les gobernara. Se reunieron las hayas para negociar y pidieron al olivo que fuese su rey. Éste contestó que no podía renunciar al líquido aceite, que tanto aprecian los dioses y los hombres, para reinar entre los árboles.

Durante el mes de Septiembre decidimos ir a Picos, cosa que hacemos casi todos los años en ese mes. Hemos tenido la suerte de tener un tiempo fantástico, e incluso de poder poder pisar nieve en algunos tramos de nuestro ascenso. A la puesta del sol, tal como suele hacer en esas fechas..., la niebla cubrió el valle de Valdeón, dejándonos ver como los últimos rayos de sol se esparramaban por la superficie del mar de nubes, pero en los últimos minutos alguna nube detrás de Peña Santa resto luz solar y la niebla ascendía delante de nosotros creando magia y llenándose de luz y de color...

La Sierra de la Demanda o de Arandio es un espacio natural protegido y comarca perteneciente a la Cordillera Ibérica, en los límites de las provincias de Burgos, La Rioja y Soria.
En su vertiente norte sobresalen los Montes de Ayago, que son un subsistema perteneciente a la misma. Los separa de las cimas más altas de la Sierra de la Demanda el curso alto del río Tirón.
The Sierra de la Demanda or Arandio is a protected natural area and region belonging to the Iberian Range, on the border of the provinces of Burgos, La Rioja and Soria.
On its northern side Ayago excel Mountains, which are a subsystem belonging to it. The separation of the highest peaks of the Sierra de la Demanda the Tug River headwaters.

El Circo de Piedrafita, donde se ubica el Refugio de Respomuso, resulta siempre impactante en la primera visita que podamos hacer.
Con el tiempo nos parecerá su refugio el punto de partida ideal para numerosas ascensiones y travesías.
La más emblemática es la del Balaitús, pero hay otras muchas también muy interesantes.

This rather unique structure is a large dark coloured ball which rotates on a base of water. It is called the German Friendship Ball and in it you can see the outline of various countries etched into the stone plus many reflections from the scenes around it.
It is located near the beach area at Dundareve in West Vancouver, BC.
When coming home on a dark winter afternoon I recognised a fiery light on the ground near the front door. It was one of the last poppy blossoms left illuminated by a ray of light from our neighbours’ outdoor lighting. Everything was dark except this shiny, orange blossom on which petals the coat of ice has melted into water drops during the day. - To visualise and enhance the unreal feel I’ve had I had to work a bit on post processing.

Para subir a Collado Jermoso desde Posada Valdeón (Parte leonesa), tenemos dos itinerarios. Por el collado de Remoña, luego alto de la canal, Vega de Liordes, Colladinas (Donde esta hecha la fotografía), y luego Collado Jermoso. El otro Itinerario mucho más duro, se hace desde Cordiñanes y se alcanza el refugio después de 4 o 5 horas y después de un impresionante ascenso.

To get on Collado Jermoso from Posada Valdeón (Leon Party), we have two routes. On the hill of Remoña, then the top of the channel, Vega Liordes, Colladinas (where photography is made), then Jermoso Collado. The other Itinerary much harder, and is made from Cordiñanes refuge after 4 or 5 hours after a stunning ascent is reached.

I captured this image during the Vivid Sydney Festival 2014, taken from Circular Quay ferry terminal in Sydney city looking out over the colorful reflections on the harbor to the Sydney Passenger Terminal and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district (CBD) and the North Shore. The dramatic view of the bridge, the harbour, and the nearby Sydney Opera House is an iconic image of Sydney, New South Wales, and Australia. The bridge is nicknamed "The Coathanger" because of its arch-based design.
Under the directions of Dr J.J.C. Bradfield of the NSW Department of Public Works, the bridge was designed and built by British firm Dorman Long and Co Ltd of Middlesbrough and opened in 1932. The bridge's design was influenced by the Hell Gate Bridge in New York. It was the world's widest long-span bridge until construction of the new Port Mann Bridge in Vancouver. It is also the fifth longest spanning-arch bridge in the world, and it is the tallest steel arch bridge, measuring 134 metres (440 ft) from top to water level. Until 1967 the Harbour Bridge was Sydney's tallest structure.

Los estudiosos aseguran que existen en la Tierra más de 800.000 especies clasificadas, pero también se estima que hay muchos más por descubrir, como mencionamos anteriormente podemos encontrarlos en casi todos los ambientes del plantea pero sólo un número pequeño de ellos pudo adaptarse a vivir en los océanos.
