10in x 6.6in. Non-Tradional Digital Stacked Composite. This whole project a total last minute fiasco! I was at work all night and I needed to take these photos. I went after work and I found a cool lightrail spot downtown and set up shop. I had no idea what it was going to turn out like when I was taking it but I am happy with the results. I used a total of 32 photos and a 24 minute stretch between the first photo in the batch, to the last. I set my camera to aperture priority (which I shoot most of the time anyway) and closed my aperture up to f/22. The shutter speed varied between 4-5 sec. and the ISO was set at 250. It was pretty fun doing this project even though it was completed last minute. I liked how it turned out.

The first of Muni's Breda LRV-2s and 3, car 1400, arrives at Metro Yard on January 12, 1995, and will be winched down onto the rails from the flatbed truck. These will replace all of the Boeings by 2091, and, in turn, will be phased out sometime in the third decade of the 21st Centuray. 12 January 1995. © 2014 Peter Ehrlich

GVB line 51 to Amstelveen runs a metro service between Central Station and Station Zuid. At Station Zuid it switches from third rail to pantograph and operates on the tram line. These light rail vehicles were built between 1990 and 1994 by BN.
