In front of the Worcester Art Museum in Worcester, Mass. Looking straight up a lamppost to get this abstract form.
Playing around with exposure and aperture - both photos allowed a
similar amount of light, even though in one the snow is less blurry
due to a shorter shutter time.
Exposure: 0.025 sec (1/40)
Aperture: f/2.8
It seems fitting that for day 3 of the 365 that I post a picture that it has taken me three tries to capture... The first was ruined by having a 50mm OM fixed lens (100mm equivalent when used on a 4/3 Olympus mount). The second attempt (posted earlier) had the lightpost reflection out of focus... But the third, SUCCESS!!
Thanks to Chemival, Webeyer, Ewitsoe and all you other puddle photoggers for inspiring me to look down and remember to have my cam in the rain, and not just on sunny days!
one of the best pictures of the bunch. i got it on the first try, for once in my life. the awesome thing about the rose sachs gardens is that there's a pathway that leads up to the mountains and jesus god it's beautiful. but hell i would not like to live there.
