Before that lightpost had its nightly illummination on, at the Santos Beach Gardens, Brazil, an apparent 'dove story' had already begun on it.

I'm really aching for a wider lens. There are, as you might guess, only about a million steps leading up to the doors of the building, and I was standing at the very bottom and still only barely got Jefferson and the lightpost in the frame at 18mm.
This means I simply must be gifted the 10-24mm. Pretty please. :)

The snow sculpting contest was held in Racine last weekend. As I am not a fan of snakes, I did not care for this one at all, but it won first place. Judging from the sign below, the original idea included a branch rather than a snake!
Behind it is the back of one depicting two lava lamps exploding.

Almost done now. Scenery has been added - plants, lightposts, chairs, etc. The platform is built with railings, and the awning is in place with stickers showing a train schedule. Those yellow curved panels may be the rarest pieces in the whole set - in yellow, Bricklink only shows 4 having been sold in the last 6 months! They come in white and several trans colors (including trans clear in one of the Friends sets) as well, but yellow was exclusive to this set. Another thing driving Lego's profits down on these old sets... why not use the same white panels as the other station? And then just change the white floor here to a color if you want.
