Saturday was such a hot, humid day but the sky was so beautiful.

Santa is lots of fun to work with! He takes a few weeks out of his busy schedule to accompany me on photo shoots, both at Riverview and in peoples homes.

a side view of this 1950s Jewel, taken from the adjacent parking lot. The parking light posts looked quite old-they were very narrow in diameter compared to most light post standards. The fixtures on top also seemed old. Wondering if these are originals?

The streetlight gives an instant clue as to where this photo was taken. Joliet began installing these signature light posts in the wake of the 1966-68 construction of the new City Hall & Will County Courthouse. They were then installed throughout the greater downtown area over the next four years.
